There are a lot of restaurants around doing this sort of food, but not like this. Those other “Indian restaurants” leave a tinge of disappointment, they’re impersonal and usually over-priced for what you get. Not so with Jays Masala Junction: If you’ve ever seen the movie Ratatouille where the food critic tastes the “simple Ratatouille” for the first time and is transported to another time and place, it’s like that (but flavours of the Indian sub continent in this case, rather than Provincial Spain or France). It’s homely and cosy and the chef / owner and his partner are available for a friendly chat. This Masala experience will not disappoint.

Discovered Jay's just yesterday but I think I can already say I have a new favorite Indian restaurant. Jay and his wife (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name!) were lovely and the food was amazing. The pork vindaloo was spicy but not chilli hot and the lamb shoulder curry just melted in your mouth. I couldn't wait to eat my leftovers today and we will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful experience, first timer and I was treated like a regular, they catered to my coeliac disease and made sure everything was gluten free. Thank you so much Jay's.

Cosy, family run restaurant that make you feel like a part of the family. The food is cooked in fromt of you and tastes unlike the typical curry houses nearby. Our new go-to restaurant for an exotic feed.

All of our meals, including chapati and Jay-mafe pickles were fresh and flavoursome and the vindaloo is hell good. Thank you! We will be back!
