28Absolutely disgusted. Attempted to collect my "click and collect" order in person only to find it was presumed to be FRAUD and the order was cancelled. No idea why this is a process for a click and collect order in person, you couldnt contact me first? Or ask for identification when I arrived? I will never ever deal with Jaycar again. Your online system is awful at best and marginally better than whoever made this decision
Although I've enjoyed good service in the past, my experience today trying to purchase a product from Saturday's flier in the West Australian was disappointing to say the least. I rang to be sure the product I wanted was actually in stock. I was assured that it was and proceeded to the store to make my purchase, only to be contacted en route and informed that their stock was a different colour from the advertised unit and would cost more. Upon rejecting that offer I requested Jaycar to order in the advertised product and was informed that they could not confirm the flier price and that I would have to prepay. Very disappointed!
Great place when you are planning a project, get good advice and have things in stocks that you can't get anywhere else.
Was attempting to shop for a birthday gift for my husband when my 5 year old desperately needed the toilet while in store. While presented with torrential rains with hail outside, staff refused use of the toilet stating its against policy! We had to leave everything we wanted to run out into the UNSAFE weather with 2 kids. Incredibly poor service. We won't be back!
The staff are excellent. I've never had a bad experience with staff in store, they have been knowledgable or happy to admit when they don't know something. All of my issues with Jaycar are corporate decisions. The catalogue has traditionally had some useful tech helper/cheat sheets inside but these seem to be disappearing year by year. For some reason they printed half of the annual catalogue upside down last year? My "members" catalogue never comes in the post no matter how many times I send in the card or fill in the web form and I end up having to go in and pay for a copy. There are strange gaps in the product lines, specifically electronics components, a very high markup on those items and the online system is not reliable regarding stock in store. For example, it will list an item as in stock and then when you go to check out for local pickup, tell you that the items are unavailable. You can get 2 kinds of functionally identical footswitchs but not a momentary switch. You can get a power supply kit that they don't sell the transformer for anymore. It seems like they may be headed in the same direction as DSE, abandoning their specialist products and replacing them with shiny gadgets. If they want to keep their specialist market, they need to have a look at their pricing for components (China is very close to us you guys) cos charging $2 for a 12¢ chip is ridiculous. $40 for a $10 Arduino is insane. They used to be my main supplier of components and cabling. Now I only go to jaycar if I need something urgently. And it's a shame, I'd much rather shop local.

Always friendly, helpful, stock a great range of products that they stand by. Always a pleasure to deal with. Went in to see about a power supply that 4 or so months old that had developed a issue. It was replaced under warranty with a off the shelf unit with a smile.
Thank God for Jaycar. My old monitor cable wouldn't plug into the new Windows 10 compatible card. Told them what the problem was and they had a solution in about 10 seconds. Plugged in my new $24 HDMI to VGA converter and worked perfectly first time. Well done Jaycar Bunbury.
Had everything I wanted - staff member was excellent - sorry I can't remember his name - he was very helpful and enthusiastic
Bad experience. Items incorrectly priced. When I got to till item was $15 more expensive. On going back to shelf with staff found three more that needed pricing corrections and were incorrect. Apologies not forthcoming. Staff preoccupied, but not with customers or service
Poor customer service; area manager did not deliver promise to customer despite the fact that the fault was due to the miscommunication with the staff and a faulty item.
Fantastic service and the staff knew their stuff! I didn't know they had so many interesting things in there! If you need a charger for your computer, they're the people to see.who knew? !
I came into store looking for a car fm transmitter and I asked the staff to show me the range which they did and were friendly and helpful. The product works really well to what I was expecting.
Always good service, I have just update this after reading some of the other reviews, STILL GOOD SERVICE I have no idea why people think the staff here are rude they are always polite and very helpful, to those expecting refunds because YOU brought the wrong product perhaps choose more carefully for me I have returned heaps of items and have NEVER been refused but I don't return "because I changed my mind" as for the one star for not answering the phone.really? Is your life that bad you go to the trouble of giving a business a negative because of this, think if they were not here how hard it would be to get components

Well what a store and to have great caring staff like Barry, Jessie and Daniel it is a privilege to be served by these guys and to be taken care of in such a grest way do hope you all have a great christmas and new year am over the moon to have such dedicated staff serve ME
Great store, really good team, in particular thank you to Troy, the store manager, really helped me out and was polite and knowledgeable. Will be back again, highly recommend
