Island Brook Estate Vineyard and Chalets

We had an amazing time with family in this fantastic place. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience 5 star treatment and Beautiful Nature too. Amazing service

Had a nice and relaxing stay at one of the chalets. Had a little issue getting the key when we first arrived, but the on-site owners helped us get it sorted quickly. The chalets themselves are large, spacious, homely and most importantly clean. The kitchen has all the basics you’ll require to prepare meals and the BBQ was easy to get work out how to use even for someone without literally any experience. The chalets are secluded and surrounded by natural bush and it’s nice to hear nothing but nature and catch a glimpse of the occasional native wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay and found it both relaxing and interesting as you can have a little wonder around the bush. The location is great as well as it’s not far from Margaret river and a bunch of other great vineyards or restaurants.

Accommodation is good nestled amongst native flora including an abundance of grass trees. We are two couples travelling and the bedrooms are at each end of the chalet separated by the kitchen lounge and bathroom. The chalet lacks a washing machine but, oddly, has a clothesline. The vineyard has not produced for the last 10 years and the blurb indicates cellar door but this is not the case. That notwithstanding, a pleasant place to stay.

This is well located accommodation the effortless contact less check in is great as was not having to see any other people. The fire pit was fantastic fun for the kids. However be warned the shower is a little weird

We had a great getaway at Island Brook. The chalet's are great, perfect for what they are and where they are located.

I would totally give 5 stars if it wasnt for a few small issues.nobody was there to greet us when we arrived, and the office was locked. There was a dog, but didnt appear to be anyone else. After contacting the Accomodation booking site we booked with, they eventually found out that we were supposed to have been given an email with a key code. The owners/caretakers were away in Melbourne. We had no idea. Anyway, no drama, half an hour of confusion. We get into the cabin, and theres no power. Another phone call, and an hour wait for the maintenance guy to come out. He fixed the problem in 10 minutes, so not so bad. Also, the hot water system was actually unplugged from the wall which is weird, but I just plugged it back in and it worked.

As I say, if it wasnt for that, 5 stars all the way. We'll be back for sure.

Nice comfy private chalet with lots of space to explore. The shower is a bit awkward, but still nice and hot so no bother. My one year old daughter loved exploring outside splashing in the puddles and seeing the kangaroos, birds and dog.

Great host, fantastic accommodation, great wine, convenient, central location. Chalet was clean, spacious and equipped with all the things to make our stay easy. The welcome pack was very good with top quality products from local producers.

Great weekend /long weekend Getaways from Perth~and great location, only 20mins drive to either Busselton, Margaret River or Dunsborough.
It was very quiet and friendly host Evan made us felt so wecome, nice place to unwind and relaxing, enjoyed both wines too. It was too short, we could have stayed much longer!

Great place to relax on our honeymoon. Quiet and comfortable, in secluded bush land. Enjoyed our complimentary wine on arrival.

We have now stayed here twice and recommend to all my friends and family. The most beautiful place to wake up to each morning we love it here

Best accommodation we have ever stayed in in the Margaret river region. Great big chalet (chardonnay) fully equipped and clean. Great location, fantastic staff. Great for families coz so many wild animals, but also for couples.
We loved the wine.

The accommodation far exceeded our expectations and the photos online don't do it justice! It has all the facilities you need (gas kitchen, outdoor BBQ) and extra perks like a giant jacuzzi spa, complementary wine and wine tasting at the cellar door that is right at your doorstep!

What an amazing place, so peaceful and divine. The chalets were extremely clean and comfortable and great value for money.

I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again.

I had one of my all time greatest winery experiences here, having a long chat and a bite to eat over the best Merlot I think I will ever taste. Amazingly this truck is from Adelaide. I hope to hear back again one day, and look forward to another set of stories, some excitingly unexpected wines, and to share this place with others.

All I can say is it was fantastic and one of the best locations I have stayed at down south.
It puts other places to shame! (and we travel very often)

The location was just so fantastic.it is far enough out to actually feel like your away from everything, but close enough to shops and dining.

Surrounded by trees and vineyard it is a perfect escape from city life, for the whole family.

Evan is a great host and is always there for any advice or assistance.

Lots of kangaroos, geese and peackcock!

The accommodation is clean and well kept, spa in bathroom and comfy beds! Along with tv and DVD.

My Wife and I have stayed here twice now and really love the chalets and the wine.
The bungalows are modern and neat, the spa in the Cabernet villa was amazing! We want one the same at home!
Evan is a lovely host and very friendly, the room rates are also very reasonable.

We went to this winery as part of The Bushtuckers Tour. Definitely my favourite part of the day, Evan was a wonderful host and explained the wine making process very thoroughly. We were their when he opened his animal shed in the morning and all the geese, turkeys and other assortment of birds he keeps followed him out, it was a sight I will never forget.

Loved this location and the chalet had all that we needed for easy access to the Margaret River region. Evan made us feel very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary bottle of his lovely wine. The setting and surrounding property were tranquil and amazing, especially seeing kangaroos in a natural environment. Our daughter loved it and had so much fun walking around the property. Evan was great host and makes great wine. We will be back.

My partner and I stayed at the Island Brook Estate couple of months ago, for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! The chalet was very well appointed, modern, clean and super spacious. Although the other chalets were booked out, we never heard or saw anyone else which was great! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very nice lady who also offered us a bottle of their wine. We chose the Shiraz - it was great by the way! What a lovely touch! We highly recommend, the chalets at the Island Brook Estate, to anyone looking to disconnect from the world for a few days. We will most certainly be coming back for another long weekend getaway.
