Integrity Coach Lines reviews
39I‘m highly disappointed about the disrespectful behavoir of the bus drivers. During the drive one made a very rude comment, when I had to go to the toilet and at the end of the joirney (I was the last one who left the bus) I found my backback soaked with water in the middle of the heavy rain… for that price I expect a much better experience.
My kids have caught the bus from Carnarvon to Perth or vice versa as unaccompanied minors. If you had another low cost option, you'd use it.
PROS
The drivers are usually pretty friendly and they ensure the kids are safe. The buses generally arrive on time or early (unless they have mechanical failure which has happened once). They're good with luggage/bags and booking is easy.
CONS
Sometimes the buses smell like urine/sewerage.
There's a few really old buses that operate this route and if you get them, they're not very comfortable.
Dodgy people are on the bus fairly often. Whilst the drivers do fairly well to keep them away from kids, we have had one incident where a passenger clearly took some drugs when on the bus, got abusive and got ejected from the bus at a remote petrol station. However, at the station, my teenage son got harassed by the druggo passenger when he went to the toilets which scared him a lot. The bus should have kept an eye on where they both went. It was good they rang police and kicked the guy off the bus though.
Then we just had an instance where the bus arrived in Perth - obviously a major stop - at 6.08am, more than 20 minutes early as the scheduled arrival time is 6.30am. My son was being picked up and the person was arriving 10 minutes early at 6.20am. The bus driver refused to wait (despite knowing the person was close by) and left the stop more than 10 minutes PRIOR to the advertised time that the bus is due to even arrive in Perth. He took my son all the way to Malaga before anyone was able to get him. I don't mind if they do this if you're late but you can leave a major city stop 10 minutes before the bus is even scheduled to be there. So poor. Can a competitor please come.
I travelled a few days ago from Perth to Karratha. The trip didn't take long, as the driver makes several stops and you can take a rest. The only thing I hated was the cold inside the bus, the air comes in from outside, and you freeze for the whole journey. I must also add that at the beginning, both the driver and the person who accommodates luggage were not very kind to me, as I don't speak English very well and I had to repeat several times where I was going and my name.anyway, everything else is fine. But for the price, the heating should be improved.
Took the southbound coastal line from Port Hedland to Perth.
Even tho it's long trip of 27 hours, but time passed by very quick. There were movies onboard to keep you entertained, the drivers were very considerate to stop playing movies after dark, and stopping here and there every 2-3 hours to 'refueling' and/or 'unloading'.
Shocking. Got charged over $400 for a trip to Broome from Perth, only to be told the bus goes to Port Hedland and no further. Upon enquiring, the manager - Sharon I believe - was rude as hell, and flatly refused to refund the difference in fare between Exmouth and Broome - despite the driver (equally unhappy with their service may I add, as apparently not the first time) - suggesting I get off at Exmouth and "wait for the next bus" on Tuesday. This is Sunday by the way.
Atrocious customer service. Would post pics of the Trainspotting-esque toilet, but sadly the battery died on my other phone. Yep, chargers are pretty rubbish too
Avoid like the plague, and do what I should have and get a much cheaper flight.
Never again.
The service of integrity Coach lines has been very good if something needed to be fixed it got with out any trouble at all
I booked a ticket two weeks in advance to come home. The next day I phoned to get a refund as I no longer needed it and they only offered a 70% refund. I understand that’s the terms and conditions but it’s very disappointing considering I only booked 16 hours beforehand and gave two weeks notice of cancellation, fair enough if I canceled the morning of or a couple days earlier. I think a full refund would be have been more suitable given the amount of notice. I think integrity needs to update their returns policy.
Thank you.
Not at all cooperative.
The buses are old.
Not well served. You have to wait several days between buses.
Many paid shuttles to reach the beautiful places to see
Bus was on time and service was good. The downside was that the driver chose to have the air-conditioning on full blast for the entire trip to Perth. Everybody was freezing cold. I had track pants and a polar fleece on and was still freezing cold. The driver said you could buy a blanket for $10 which seems ridiculous. Surely he could have just turned the heater on. Not impressed at all
Bus was running like an hour late if not more and there was no notice or update on the situation, pretty pathetic especially in 2022 now.
Have used this company a heap of times now and are always left impressed! Super convenient having the charger ports and the really warm blanket you can buy on board that helped keep us regulated. We were backpacking using the hop on, hop off pass so all the little things add up to be a big help
Travelled Exmouth-Broome recently. The coach wasn’t as modern as those on their webpage.
Ours had USBs that didn’t work, curtain windows a bit musky AND a toilet that didnt work! Coach had 50 pax in to Broome.
Pretty disappointing overall. Extra * ford the excellent drivers
I have recently used Integrity Coachline's services and only have good things to say about them. Friendly drivers, afforable tickets and good A/C. Highly recommend for a reliable form of transport
I had to cancel my paid booking for urgent medical reasons; and gave Integrity more than a weeks notice. Having a policy of refunding only 70% of a fully paid fare ($348) is ridiculous in this day and age - its cost me over $100 just to cancel with them. While I understand the purpose of a short notice cancelation fee, name me another business who will not give a full refund for a service you have not even received. Very poor service.
I often travel by bus, going South to visit my Elders. Integrity Bus Service takes me South, my grandchildren look at it as an adventure. The bus is comfortable, lots of leg room, the drivers are excellent with communication, explaining in a way that every passenger understands and the fact that Integrity Bus links us to all of these remote towns and roadhouses along the way, it's awesome.
I would recommend a road trip on The Integrity Bus
We have completed our tour of Australia by Public Transport, and your service was most important to the trip. We enjoyed every leg of our journey with Integrity, from Gearldton to Broome. Your coaches were comfortable (even long haul) and the driving team on each leg were courteous and helpful and above all, very safe. Please, if you can, let the teams know how much we enjoyed your/their service. Some of them will recall us as they had bever heard of anybody doing what we did.

Traveling from perth just after they'd been on lockdown. Rather than making space for at least an attempt at social distancing they close off a section of the bus and cram everyone together, then try to freeze us all as well. Not real good
Communication was wonderful during the recent floods. No one can control the weather however Integrity Coach Lines kept me up to date via text message so I knew what was happening and as soon as the roads opened gave me a new time of departure. Fantastic service in difficult conditions.
I took this coach 2 times and the first time wasn't that bad, besides the extremely loud bus and the horrible smell from the toilet and awful timing i still managed to get to my location and back. The second time was absolutely horrible, They left me stranded over 100kms from my destination that I paid for. I was forced to call someone to pick me up at 1 in the morning just because they didn't want to drive through a fire, even though my destination was nowhere near the fire and there was a safe passage there. Worst trip ever, Id recommend Trans WA coach lines if your looking to travel WA the tickets are far cheaper than integrity
Edit: I forgot to mention when I asked for my money back they wouldn't give it back even though they didn't get me to my destination and left me stranded but they also said I should have thanked them.
Sharon in the office is very helpful! Great customer service! Good clean coaches and friendly drivers, enjoyable trip.
