So, we engaged with what would barley be considered a business advisory group.
As a growing business, we decided we needed some sort of job management software to help with organising a growing fleet of trucks. We looked online and found AroFlo Job managament software. Next, we needed some help setting the software up, so we went onto the AroFlo website and found "Insight Advisory Group" (photo attached for evidence).
To put it bluntly, these guys have no idea how to set the software up. It cost us $3800 as their fee for setting up the software, with the idea being it would be ready for us to use. This was not the case whats so ever. After months of my partner I trying to get AroFlo going and in use, we finally gave up. Instead, we now use simPRO. So basically, we lit our money on fire and were let down horribly by this lot.
As if getting ripped off wasnt enough, we gave these guys access to our Xero so it could be intergrated with our AroFlo. What followed were almost weekly calls from someone in their office saying "we've noticed some stuff with your books, would you like us to take a look at them and fix it up". Really? How about you guys get AroFlo set up, so we could actually use the god damn thing we paid you for? What a joke! The whole AroFlo set up process, we feel, was just to get our books and other work out of us. We now obviously use a different bookeeper who are great to deal with.
We engaged Insight Advisory Group excited about getting job managment software sorted, and therefore our business more organised. Instead we feel ripped off, let down and disappointed we were asked so many times to look at our books, when the one thing we needed wasnt even close to being completed.
