Inn The Tuarts Guest Lodge Busselton reviews
25Everything was great except the service. I emailed multiply times about my RayBan sunglasses that I left there and never heard anything back. They obviously would of found them in the clean up and decided they would love to keep them. Not happy at all. Theft
Amazing place for families we had a great time,
I would recommend this place at any time,
We stayed as an extended family at the In the Tuarts Inn and I was really unhappy. All the TV's except for one room was broken (our remote was snapped in half) and the rooms were not equipt and could not be locked. The owner was rude and stingy. They made you take the trash home with you and when they found a empty milk carton in the recycling bin they charged our bond! We left the place perfect! Busselton is beautiful but I highly recommend you look somewhere else to stay. Bad news.
Booked this accomodation as a group. Beautiful location, well maintained grounds, ample parking.
Very clean and comfortable.
Plenty of spaces for individuals or groups.
Pool area is fabulous! As is the BBQ area.
Some thought the beds were a bit firm for their liking.
Beautiful quiet location. Spacious rooms and a great place to socialise in the pool room and living space.
Recommend the group booking so you can have the whole place for friends and family.
Great getaway any time of the year.
Love staying here
So quiet and peaceful.
Nice clean rooms
Great Hosts nothing too much for them
Loved sitting in the spa Shame the pool was a little cold.
Really close to Busselton.
Was very disappointing rooms were dirty dust cobwebs, spiders, mould shawer screen falling apart couldn't close the door. The list goes on owners not nice at all place needed a lot of maintenance work. Most of which is on its last legs spar was not working properly the night we arrived and they blamed us for filter braking I looked at the filter and was years old and not maintained properly. This was confirmed when the caretaker arrived from his holidays next day he said was no way we could of caused that as filter was so old. Also was a lot of passive aggressive signs everywhere
It wasn’t quite what I expected from the pictures, staff are friendly and helpful. It needs work to be done around the place, the floor boards moved under my feet like they were laid over an old mattress.
The picture nice but the room is WORSE even though it was up rated. I’m lying in bed now but I can’t sleep because the bed hard as stone. The floor is shaking when my partner walking to toilet
I’m disappointed with the poor facilities in this place
Where do i start how's about wow this place is just perfection celebrated my little brother wedding there was amazing the tuarts lodge is a must go stay from me the owners are very down to earth... Oh did I mention there a pool a spa and a sauna next time your down that way stop in for a night or two. Thank you to the guys down there at inn the tuarts.
We were in Busselton for the tennis and decided to spend the night there. The pictures looked good and the price was ok. We had a room with indoor pool view, that were upgraded! So there must be one worse than the one we had. The place is old and tiring. To go the the room we had to go through an old-style living area and then the pool area. The pool area is also BBQ area! And there are tables and chairs. But at the pool itself there is no single place to hang a towel! There is a spa at the back that is also old and it has an overdose and chlorine. The glass pool fence is fragile and ugly. There is no good ventilation in the area at all. We went for a dip, but I was not feeling comfortable to put my head under water.
Our room had no fresh air. There was a door close to the bathroom that we were able to open but everything in that area was dirty and full of leaves. As there was a wall between that door and the bedroom, there was not enough air to circulate. In that corridor there is an old fridge, no fresh milk and there were glasses with coffee and 2 biscuits. I would have not dare to eat those biscuits, who know how long they were there.
There were spider webs in the bedroom that the web went straight to the lamp. Also spiders in the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower can be null if someone else in another room is showing.
Interesting thing is that it is a B&B with NO free breakfast. There was a surcharge for the breakfast but we did not see any activity, so I do not even think that there was a chef, making this "delicious 3 course breakfast" as advertised.
The bathroom was old and the light in the bathroom shocking bad. On top of that there are signs everywhere where you are suppose to put things and what you are suppose to do and not to do.
The location is in the nature but also away from everything. We have been in many remote places and this is not a real remote one. We are surprised about the great reviews and what upset me the most is that is classified as 4 star accommodation. I guess the stars do not mean anything.
We are not coming back. Also if we did not pay a big amount, the place was not value for us at all. I could hardly have a good night sleep, breathing through the air from the air-con. This place is in serious need of renovation and needs to be more functional.

Hi guys, madame has forgot that we arrived after hours and she was not around when we arrived. She left an envelope with us with 3 pages and the keys. So it is not possible that she can confirm that we were unhappy from the moment we arrived. Unless she has hidden microphones in the lobby and common area.
Please do not tell stories, as you did not offer any refund and you did not give us any discount. But now that you are confirming in public, I want to see it in my account or I will call the bank to reverse the payment.
Your comments are very confusing and you are overrated for the kind of accommodation you offer. I told you and show you exactly what I am pointing out and you saw with your own eyes the spider webs and you admitted that your fence is falling apart blaming the guests about your bad glass fence design.
What an unbelievable place to stay. We celebrated my wife's 30th birthday here with all our friends and our kids. Highly recommend!
- Also thanks for finding her earring and posting it out to her. It was one of her birthday presents!
Inn the Tuarts is a favourite get away for us. We love the location and tranquility being in the forest. The owners are very friendly and the accommodation is comfortable and affordable. Well recommended.
Fantastic place, nice and quiet, very lovely friendly staff, nothing was a problem, lovely buffet breakfast, worth every cent.
Everyone that we dealt with were helpful and friendly. Rooms were beautiful and clean and the amenities fabulous. There was a large family group and despite the rainy weather there was plenty to keep occupied from the pool, spa, sauna to the pool table.
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was fabulous! Rooms were beautifully appointed and had everything you could possibly need. Loved the fluffy white towels and crisp white sheets. We didn't have time to use the pool, sauna or bbq but the set up was brilliant! Fresh fruit and pain au chocolate for breakfast, plus a myriad of cereals and breads. Could not have been happier. Oh and the wifi worked perfectly. I will recommend this place to everyone.
From the moment you drive down the driveway the stress lifts from your shoulders. Inn the Tuarts is an ideal place to get away from it all. The setting is peaceful & tranquil. The hosts are amazing - the attention to detail is evident right through the property, it is clear they enjoy hosting guests. The room was clean & the bed very comfortable. The amenities of indoor pool, spa, sauna, bbq, magazines, dvds were beyond what I expected. Great valur for money too. We will definitely be back & will be bringing our friends & family.
Location was unique and a short 8 mins drive from city centre. Room was cosy and host was friendly and approachable. Overall an excellent stay!
A mere 7 Kms from busselton centre on the edge of Tuart forest lies this beautiful oasis, Apon arrival you are greeted by beautiful hosts and shown to your room and the facilities which includes a pool table and beautiful lounge for relaxing and reading or listening to music, an indoor heated pool and barbaque area, outside there is a covered decked area and beautiful gardens and then you are just blown away by the lovely spacious room with all the amenities you need for a lovely stay.
If I could find a fault it would be the adjacent forest that is easy to get lost in and would be great if there was a looped walk from the property.
Great location, quiet and cosy place for couples. Good hospitality by the hosts Peter and Suzanne!
