Industry Skills Training (IST) Armadale

I am really enjoying my time learning about how to care for the disability and aged people. The course covers so much information preparing us to start on a new journey in our work career. And looking forward to being able to use the knowledge I am learning in my community.

I'm always having a nice day at IST armadale. Staff are all friendly and nice, specially heather who's always willing to guide us on our journey, she's always willing to answer every questions that we have. She's like a mother, a friend, and a teacher at the same time. I always feel at home because at IST you have a free breakfast and pizza ever wednesday. Everything are provided including the laptop that we use during school hours. Teachings and lessons are very helpful. Thank you IST for giving me a great time while studying

All the staff here are very friendly and the building is well maintained. My trainer Steve is a wonderful trainer, he is very welcoming and always makes me excited to come back.

I recently had an experience with Industry Skills Training and feel compelled to share my concerns. My interactions with Heather, who appears to be in charge of processing applications, left me deeply disappointed.
It became evident that Heather's approach to processing applications was questionable. I noticed a stark difference in the speed at which she processed applications from white applicants compared to those from individuals of other ethnicities. This biased treatment created an unfair advantage for certain applicants while others were left on hold indefinitely.
As a customer, I strongly believe in fairness and equal opportunities for everyone. Discrimination based on race or ethnicity should never be tolerated, especially in professional environments like Industry Skills Training. It is disheartening to witness such practices, as they undermine the principles of inclusivity and equality that are essential for any organization.
I urge Industry Skills Training to thoroughly review their application process and ensure that all applicants, regardless of their race or ethnicity, are treated with the same level of respect and efficiency. It is crucial that they address and rectify any discriminatory practices, as this will not only promote fairness but also foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
In conclusion, my experience with Industry Skills Training, particularly with Heather's biased approach, has left me disappointed. I hope that my feedback will contribute to positive change within the organization and lead to a fairer and more inclusive experience for all applicants.

Great place staff are all friendly and welcoming. Training provided is excellent and very in depth, trainers go out of their way to help people struggling with the material by drawing from their expertise in said field, Plenty of time is given to complete work or catch up if you have fallen behind.
So far i have thoroughly enjoyed studying here and i would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about partaking in study here.

Today I graduated after studying for 10weeks. I loved the course, friends I’ve made, the support throughout the course, Amrit the best lecture I’ve had, very understanding, helpful. Had the best time doing this course, will miss my class mates and Amrita smile everyday. Staff are all friendly, warming, inviting. Best part about doing this course, I got a job. BEST FEELING EVER….

A wonderful study environment that caters to everyone needs individually! Since day one I have always felt very welcome by staff and students alike. Always allocates catch up time for anyone that is needed and it always feels safe to ask any question in regards to your course. Overall a wonderful place for anyone to study!
Ooh and the pizza every Wednesday is a cherry on top:)

Enrollment was easy and simple, staff is very knowledgeable and kind, courses are extremely beneficial

They have everything u need to complete your study great environment, friendly staff that always go beyond, good trainers always ready to help and offer outside their normal hours to assist. I competed community service and went back to do first aid in armadale they are that good. Wouldn't want to do education anywhere else

The lecturer and curriculum was satisfactory and I appreciated their assistance in my completing of the course

Lovely place to study and to do a course. The staff and the teachers are wonderful, really nice and accomodating. I never enjoyed studying until I came to this place. I just finished cert III in Community services and I also did First aid their. The trainer for cert III in Community services Amrit is an amazing teacher and a lovely kind lady. Amrit is more then willing to help you and listen to you when needed. The course was quite easy to understand even though their were some hard bits in there, the First Aid course was equally as good and the trainer for the First Aid was equally as amazing I am going to miss every one there most of all my trainer Amrit. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My enrolment did not go as smoothly as I would have liked. Due to the lack of trainers through Covid etc, I did not start until a month after the original date. I was always kept informed each week what was happening.

Really good environment for learning, teachers are awesome, you find new groups of mates in your classes, plus this course I'm doing has helped me massively

Friendly Staff and very Calmed Lecturer (Farzana) and the Administration/Receptionist are ready to assist in any concern or question you may need to asked.

I loved the course that I am doing and am getting so much help then what I would at any other school I have been to and it’s fast and easy

I am happy taking this course because I am learning about business how important documents and to make flyers and policy and procedures.

I just started about a week ago and all staff members have been very accommodating to all study needs and the course is enjoyable though out the lessons and easy to understand the course task.

I had a great experience with this organisation. My wife completed her education here. She found the trainers very intelligent and helpful. She did not only receive qualification but also a lot of confidence in herself and now she is working as a case worker in very big organisation. I am very thankful to whole staff for their help and would recommend this organisation to everyone

Unprofessional and you will spend your money paying fees for a course you taught yourself by googling everything. Poor quality educators and support team. Let down thoroughly and could not recommend staying away more.
