Ikhwan Cafe Perth reviews
45Good food needed more fish and not anchovies but actually fish other than that it was nice food
Best satay in town. We are having a family satay party tonight. If you have tried, you will definitely come back for more. Staff are super friendly, feel at home.
I had this ordered to my house thanks to their FB post. I had roti cheese that came with dhall (fantastic, greasy but that's the cheese being heated, huge portion seriously yum, dhall ok ok). I also had 3 nasi lemak bungkus that came in containers, seriously yummy, with one fried egg (yolk just cooked perfect), sambal was sweet but spicy not deadly spicy though but I couldn't have eaten any spicier, they even added one piece of fried chicken in a separate bag, unsure why but yup. Lastly I had their nasi goreng, this was nice but boring, I expected sambal cooked into it or something so I just made up some sambal and ate with it, perfecto. The chicken and veges in the nasi goreng was spot on. All this cost me $31 including free delivery. Extremely cheap and tasty, will be back, happy to pay $5 for delivery too once the free delivery promo is over, thank you.
My family was there on Saturday night, delicious and authentic Malay foods, friendly staff and very agreeable prices. Best lamb satay in town.
Friendly staff with good manners. Fresh food with a lot of variety. PAYWD on Friday is a great deal. Thank u
Lovely people and great food. I am a convert! This restaurant is not to be missed. It is not silver service but just a warm welcoming place with awesome food. To get a meal of authentic cuisine for under $10, I'm hooked. Keep up the great work.
Great tasty food, friendly staff, excellent service and recommended place to eat.
Fday is happy moment. You can eat whatever you want and you can pay what you can afford. Eat all you can Pay as you wish If you are looking for HALAL meal or Malaysian flavour, this the best place for you. Staffs are very gentle and polite.
Love this restaurant!
Very slow & bad service. Thanks for response.my review to improve u r service. But u want more details. What we ordered we didn't get. Seafood item served as chicken.menu pic item differ to served item.check with your staff what missed. I returned 1 meal bez too much bad smell in noodles. U said big family order & short paid. I thought family restaurant normally take min 30 for serving. U should maintain billable item. U guys asking us what we ordered. We calculated as 6 bez 1 item replaced.short paid, but we came back & paid full amount. Instead pointing customer pls investigate with staff & post. We told staff nice food also.
Tiny Malaysian cafe serving great food. I came mid afternoon on Friday for a late lunch. All you can eat buffet and pay from the heart. Hardest thing was deciding how much to pay. Definitely worth keeping in the memory bank for future.
Pay What You Want Friday AND tasty food? What's not to love! Great authentic recipes for the dishes and close to perfect Malaysian flavours. Would definitely be back to try out the normal menu.
I went here on a Friday evening with my family. Food is outstanding - right and optimal flavour for my Indian taste buds. Cant complain dessert and drink options were only four (ha!), as I was full already with the mains. Wish the place was bigger to move through the crowd. Someday, Insha Allah.
Each and every one of the staff was so friendly and helpful, including the young fellows at the door. Good luck.
It depends on the server of the moment, whether you get a decent quantity plate of tasty food or not.
Fridays are popular with Pay as you Like!
Authentic malay food. Loved the roti canai, freshly made and Crispy. Went during the payw on Every friday.
Unfortunately the food is not that great. Very sweet and ordered savoury food.
Staff are friendly however the wait time was way too long. We went on a Wednesday just after peak, about 2pm and paid for 1hr parking. We got the food about 10mins before the timer ran out.
So far so good, had the Nasi Lemak and roti telur, with a kopi tarik to wash it all down. Prices are decent and portions are not small. Will try the Mee goreng next too.
The most value for money cafe/restaurant in Perth. Come one and all during Friday s and have your fill of the Malaysian style dining
Lunch at Ikhwan Cafe for their famous 'eat all you can and pay as you wish'. I was really impressed by the quality and quantity of food they provided. Beef rendang and sambal egg plant were my favourite. They even have roti made and cooked freshly right in front of you. All the dishes were tasty and flavoursome.
Friday eat as much you can and pay as much as you like, curries are good, generous portion, value for money in Perth.
Not a bad place but will take sometime for the food to arrive. Will have buffet pay as you wish every friday!
Nice Asian served food. My daughter loved the Chicken soup and finished it and she's a picky eater! Opened till 9pm. They also sell desert like cakes and its soooo nice!
