IGA Xpress reviews
11IGA Halls Creek would have to be one of the most expensive Supermarkets in Australia. The average cost is over 50% more expensive than Coles and Woolworths for the same or simliar items. They need to stop ripping people off and lower their prices. The staff are wonderful and helpful, but their prices are over the top. Come on IGA Halls Creek, think about your customers and not your pockets. You can still make money without ripping people off.
Friendly staff and good variety. Most stuff cost a bit more but that's to be expected
Wow! What a BRILLIANT little grocer this is - they have EVERYTHING! Far better than my expectations! Well do e to staff for such a well stocked and run supermarket.
Great variety of fresh fruit and vegetables but overall groceries are at the higher end of the price scale
There is an avocado glut in all of Australia with lots of perfect fruit being dumped. Growers are begging consumers to buy more which, I would happily do but the avocados in IGA are awful. Are they seconds or worse? Very disappointing.
Well stock supermarket, given remoteness, fresh F&V, great selection of Asian specialities, competitive pricing on staples - water, milk aswell as weekly specials.
Because off the isolated position of halls creek the choices a little limited. To be expected. Prices are reasonable for the distance freighted. Staff very smiley and helpful.
It’s much larger inside than it looks. It’s clean and well stocked. It carries a much wider range than I expected, including some items that I wouldn’t have expected outside of a major city.
Given it’s an IGA, and it is a (very) long way from the sources of the products it sells, its prices are reasonable. If on a budget then you do have to shop specials.but that's true anywhere. And some products are way higher than expected.but again that's true anywhere.
We used this store while enroute to Broome and during our return trip. Our shopping list was basic each time but satisfactorily filled.
Love our local. Yes, prices are higher than cities (welcome to remote living and murderous freight charges). But Emma and her team are awesome and the range of products is very impressive.
