Always improving the shop. Great little store. Coffee and very good food. Very nice staff and owners.

I stayed with extended relatives in Gingin and the IGA is unfortunately the only grocery store located in the region - very expensive prices and the staff are not friendly at all. I bought groceries on numerous occasions and the staff never greeted customers, or cared to make casual talk to be friendly towards customers. One occasion a staff member judged what the customer in front was purchasing saying "have you bought enough of these do you think" and then laughed, the customer just grunted. Extended family have since said the owners Andrew and Caroline are not much liked by some town members due to their unfriendliness and poor shop management. The way they treat staff and conduct themselves is as if they think they are too good for the town, and a small town talks a lot that spreads around, I heard this from other people I met while staying in Gingin - its never good to leave a bad impression and I certainly won't be spending money at that IGA again, what a shame.

I walked in with a smile and came out deflated, sign says rolls made to order from $4.50 was directed by a grumpy woman to rolls already made $7.00 with next to no filling. Keep driving next time.

I am disgusted at the service at this store, on one occasion, i ordered 2 meat and salad rolls only to find when i got home there was only salad in the roll, disappointed when i pay full price. On another occasion i go there to pick up a few items then i get comments from the cashier on what i was buying, (my purchases are none of their business) unless i was to bring up an issue of quality, the comments were assumptive, condescending, rude. And on another occasion i purchased items to find when i got home a portion of the product was missing which wasn"t noticed at the time of buying, when i rang the owner (carolyn) she said "i don"t understand why anyone would do that, what do you want me to do about it" i said just letting you know. Call ended. NO apology.i WILL NOT shop there anymore. They are not friendly, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.i can only suggest if they are tired and grumpy get out of it and let someone run it with some enthusiasm, tenacity and skill.

Got a lot of takeaway food and it was great food and a great price. Top service and a great store.

Even in 2019 still has $10 minimum eftpos, if you, like many have replaced your wallet and ID with your phone you cannot simply get a snack here while passing through Gingin, go to the roadhouse, or the servo both will serve you better. Albeit with less options. The store is decent although old and cramped with a rather weird layout.

Andrew the owner provides an exceptional service. The company I work for had issues at the place we stayed at. Andrew & his staff assisted greatly with providing lunches for the crew went out of his way to start early to ensure we we were all fed.

For a small country town it's got everything you need with good cheerful service. A cafe outside as well. They can also cater for your events

The New owners are trying very hard to give Gingin people the shop they need. More stock and fresh produce has made this a big change already can't wait to see whats next.
