IGA X-press reviews
21Was served by a girl named Jess, I saw her deal with a rude and abrasive customer with a great deal of professionalism and understanding. Ended with the customer apologizing for his poor behavior. Great service overall.
These 5 stars are purely for the great customer service from Jess and Poppy.good to see customer service is still alive
The first and last time I went into IGA IN KELMSCOTT I was not happy with the cleanliness or the brightness of the shop, it just looked dusty and not terribly inviting. What a shame!
Great place if you want to pay full price for expired food.
This store has been terrible from the moment it changed hands in ownership from the previous owner a few years back.
Needs a bit of tlc. They had everything we needed and the manager did not have the price on cheese as it was a new item but asked how much you want to pay for 500g. I said $5 and he was fine with that. I would have paid more but he was a gentleman so i will definitely recommend
The boys are chill, the female cashier has trust issues over $2 items though.pretty weird how she stares for payment to go through over $2 and keeps item in her hands, slightly offended if she thinks people would not pay for that tbh haha
anyways.yeah the boys ;)
Sorry everyone who work here, it should have been 5 stars, but it won't let me change it. Keep up the great work,
Ordered $130 worth of stuff via door dash, including nappies for my toddler and I only received bread and butter only- that is no where near $130 worth of food. I tried to contact door dash and IGA and can't get ahold of anyone I paid for my items and did not receive anything! Not happy my baby is going without an essential need because of the negligence and pure carelessness of both IGA and DOORDASH!
Positive: I find the store to very convenient and an awesome little IGA to quickly pop and grab some stuff.
Negative: The person who served me didn’t really care about being there. I found them to not have good customer service.
Absolutely disgusting! I just ordered 2 kilos of onions, in a bag, and they're all soft and smelly. The use by date says 17/12/21. That's 41 days over, and they still have the audacity to sell them! I also got 2 red capsicums, and one has a bug hole in it. I'm not looking forward to seeing inside. I literally just got them. I called the store, and their English was perfectly fine, until I mentioned rotten food. Then suddenly they couldn't speak English. I'm so distressed. I'm autistic, and extremely perceptive, and notice that far too many people have become greedy since the pandemic. I will re rate your store on a regular basis, until it's shut down.
Very run down, in desperate need of maintenance.
Limited selection of fruit and vegetables.
Their is cross contamination with the meat because it is next to all the other food in the back fridge. The store is untidy and the staff are unfriendly.
Very friendly staff, convenient to go to if you just need one or two small things.
Lots of parking.
Will wholeheartedly support the store owner and his team. Nobody shall operate a business and/or come to work and be abused or feel threatened. Hope justice will prevail.
Great Store, Great Staff. Prefer to support Local Owners rather than big business, who make you go through self serve checkouts to purchase your groceries.
I'm sorry you and your staff were treated so appallingly, this is Australia not a third world country. I hope everything works out in your favour.
Retail workers have no rights to act as vigilante's and lock up children on spurious grounds. Avoid this store, give them no money
Wizard Pharmacy won't honour the warranty on the Vicks Vaporiser I purchased from them. They are incorrectly telling me that the manufacturer won't honour the warranty with them. I have spoken to the manufacturer and they are more than happy to warranty it.
They ripped me off. Short change me ¢ I wouldn't care but $5. Maybe the checkout person should learn our currency coz a 5 and 10 notes look nothing alike. Never shop there again
