IGA Edgewater reviews
13This is a really nice little store that I go to every time I am in Edgewater. The staff are very helpful and they always have a couple of good specials. Altogether a nice centre.
Good staff, the new owners keep upgrading the shop, new display fridges, etc
Staff are really caring and provide real service to customers.
The thing about IGA is that they use more local based suppliers as opposed to the giant chain stores like Coles and Woolworths. This helps to keep money circulating in Australia instead of the large overseas corporations that manipulate food for longer than normal shelf life. Here's a good example: the avocado I am eating today came from a local source, so that money did not go to help a violent cartel in Mexico that weilds great power in growing and exporting avocados for the giant corporations. Buying local means we are helping Australia retain its self determination by not bleeding our expenses out to foreign interests. This particular store in Edgewater has the added benefit of being a really friendly and helpful store where the staff are willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer gets what they want. You just don't get personalised human service like this in the giant chain stores. Coles and Woolworths don't even want to have humans to take your money. All this does is normalise the self checkouts as normal and natural, like the digital currency the central banking system has been trying to implement over the years. Edgewater IGA is a very down-to-Earth store with mostly locally sourced products and super friendly helpful staff. Today I needed help keeping salad fresh all day in my car and the staff helped me with a smaller alternative to the bulky 5kg bags of ice. Well done to the manager of the day, Amy.
Convenient and friendly staff. I had trouble locating a particular salad dressing and the girl lady who helped me was great.
Popped into IGA today in passing and bought a Pink lady apple. So fresh and delicious it will be up there in my memorable 'apple' moments. Congratulations on the quality of your fruit & veg.
I just dropped in for something to drink. I had never been into the shopping centre but from what I saw it looked like a nice centre.
Really enjoyed shopping at the shopping centre has a great selection of sugar free products and you can find something a little bit different with every IGA I reckon these owners have a stroke of Macedonian in them as they have a lot of new blister that reminds me of Greece
Great little shop and complex convenienently located straight off ocean reef road, you find everything you need but for that quick stop by it is perfect.
Looking to see if you visited when Channel Islands Trading were here on 8th January 2021 for the tsating of Devonshire Clotted Cream and Ice Cream. If you didn't then make sure you contact Channel Islands to order your supply now.
It's a very handy shopping precinct 2 cafes 1 fish&chips. 1 pizza. 1.chemist 1 supermarket 1 bottle shop 1. Asian restaurant. Directly across the road 1. Doctors surgery. 1. Vets. 1. Petrol and diesel.station very reasonably priced with a workshop. 3.5. Stars.
This IGA has really overhauled itself, thanks to new ownership over the last year and a bit. Better quality products, wider variety and also more options for 'fussy eaters'. Well done guys, it's now a shop Edgewater can be proud of.
This place is one of the best Iga gourmet in Edgewater. They also sell a great range of plant gifts.
As smaller IGA supermarkets go, there is nothing really different with this store. The staff are helpful and friendly, but I think their range is limited and the prices a bit higher for an IGA. All in all a good store to drop in for quick small purchases, but I would not do a big weekly shop there.
