IGA Bertram

Overpriced. Fruit trays are off. Meat from the deli is off. When freshly sliced it isn't even fresh, I returned some silverside fresh cutt that was green and some meat tastes like a cleaning product, I think the slicer isn't cleaned properly. Lamb chops have been returned in the past as they were off and well in date. I thought medina iga was the worst but this is just as bad. Why do the 2 IGA'S of KWINANA seem to think the local shoppers are worth paying for and possibly eating rotten fruit and off meat? Its disgusting. I have recently moved to Rockingham and both local IGA'S I have been to have proved how poor quality of food the people of KWINANA are living on.get some better staff and fresher food!

Don’t bother coming here to buy cigarettes… you’re better off driving down the road to Coles Express and buying them out of the Servo. Prices here are ridiculously expensive and over-priced.

Apart from that, store is general is ok. But for those of you who are smokers, you’ll know what I mean … who would go to the shops and not buy ciggies there while you’re at it?

I go there almost every day (who knows what they want for dinner days in advance amiright?) but I'm constantly asked to show the innards of my satchel. My kids aren't allowed to even touch satchy, much less open it but I'm forced to open it as if I'm a thief; regardless of my constant presence there and never having stolen anything. I've never stolen anything ever, in my entire life. It doesn't feel great.

I understand they are doing their job but still. Maybe they'll start giving me a pat down, possibly a strip search to check me for a concealed Snickers bar.

Also, I agree with the other reviewers, it is overpriced. The produce is fine - I guess - but it's the only grocery shop within walking distance. If I had a car I'd never return, but here we are.

If it wasn't for the late opening hours I wouldn't go there, like so many other carless people. Get a clue, idiots. I hope a Woolworths opens across the street.

Really sickened at the lady behind the counter at around 5pm, where a regular customer/ local was refused the toilet key, I could see this lady was in need, she even waited in line. Where’s the compassion, in todays society it’s gone out the window, will not shop there ever again.bad management

Not bad for a local IGA but the last 3-4 times I've gone here to get yoghurt or cream, they were past the use by date

Our favourite IGA which is open from 7AM to 10PM and very handy when the Woolies and Coles are closed early.

This IGA is a total rip off, even the staff don't care about customers, all they want is your money. Worst places to shop.

Came in a bit before close, had impolite service and the twinkie i bought for my friend was MOULDY.check your food before buying from here

Terrible store. Lots of things on shelf are out of date. Get over charged often when things are suppose to be on sale.
Receipt machine often “broken” as is the screen to see price when scanned.
Have witnesses the owner (guy) be rude and nasty to kids one more than a few occasions. Hate going in there after school out for this reason. He’s very short with them, borderline bullying.
He needs to change is attitude or move now.

I would like to complain about that lady who’s working in IGA store in Bertram this morning I try to buy a pads for myself and the lady she’s told me I’m trying to steal a pad she’s said I’m trying to pot in my bag and she’s said a lot of camera there they can see you and I said what did you say I try to steal some pads really and she’s said yeah and I said to her common then show your camera if I’m trying to steal this pad she’s not very nice lady

I'm new to bertram and have been using the Iga for a month and have to say I'm not impressed. Firstly the things I buy are never restocked secondly I rarely illicit any rude responses unwarranted in my life but one of the older short hair ladies there is not polite and stares and won't sack my things after I am always polite. She ignores my greetings every time, At least
don't stand there snearing if your going to ignore me! Only writing this after multiple times of same treatment. Lady if you don't want to be there retire, I'll sack groceries happily. Just saying.

As IGA's go this one is pretty good with a wide range of items available. Staff are always helpful and friendly.

Bertram IGA is alot pricier than aldi and Coles,
it doesnt even give fuel discounts vouchers, which I feel is a complete dis-service to your customers.

This place was shockingly over priced I could not believe that my two shopping bags cost $113.00!
I was so shocked and horrified and customer service? What customer service there was none very disappointed and shocked.
I pressed 1 star so I could at least write this review otherwise I would not have pressed one star

Poor attitude: a smug female team member with a fake smile, when not being able to afford to buy a luxury wanted $32.50 item, only have $29.00.
You would think that all IGAs would have the equivalent prices.
First & last time for visiting this establishment, let alone "Word of Mouth".
One Star is only for Actually Being Open.

My Local, always great to grab bread and milk, when other shops are closed, prices are a tad steep though

Is hello or a thankyou or any customer service available here been in the area for 2yrs and feels like I'm not welcome every time.
