Sell out of date products, not going to bother taking it back because our previous experiences have been terrible also won’t be worth our time. Very discriminatory throughout covid period also. Save yourself money time & energy and go over to the coles across the highway!

I have lived in the area for 3 years and go to IGA 3-4 times a week as it’s on the way home. About 2 months ago I was asked by a younger lady to search my bag a small man style bag. I was a bit taken a back as I had never been asked before and not seen anyone asked. So I questioned it she said it’s her right and the manager has asked her to. So I let them search it.
Tonight I rushed in to pick up an apple sauce I waited by the checkout and one lady with a bag was being served. The same staff member as before came from somewhere and took me to the other till then said can I check your bag!
I questioned her as to why, she gave the same answer as before. I said to her no as again I have not seen anyone else have bag searched and I am with in my rights to say no. I walked out to my car, she followed me and shouted from the steps that I was rude, I replied I was within my rights to decline and she carried on from the steps.
I found this humiliating and insulting and feel as though she targeted me.
I am local and try and support small business I could easily go to Coles
I am a 60 year old man that has a retail business in Mandurah and would not dream or dare to treat my customers like that. I have no problem with showing my bag but because of the attitude and complete disrespect to a loyal and local customer. I really do not want to give them my money.

Staff are very rude, all need to be sacked.
Prices are absolutely ridiculous.
Glad new coles is open now, never will go to IGA again.

We moved here 6 months ago and tried to support the local IGA but just can't anymore. Staff are just rude. Agree with previous reviews, not well run at all.
Hubby and I walked out after rude comment from Deli staff. Was the final straw. Sorry IGA your loss we will only be shopping at the new Coles from now on. Better store, better prices and a place where customers are treated well and with respect.

Used to be a good store but unfortunately not anymore. The Asian lady behind the checkout is extremely rude and shouldn’t be in customer service. For that reason reason I am not shopping there anymore. What a shame this store has became

Unbelievable.by far the best IGA I've shopped in. The range of groceries and extra items was amazing. Very impressed

Disappointed with the hot food section in the deli it made me think of my last relationship. (Sad and depressing) plastic rubber cheese with half a slice of ham and wasn't toasted properly should have just made a sandwich at home.

God knows who the staff we’re on the 29th of jan but they were feral, don’t think I’ve ever experienced such poor customer service and just pure rudeness! We came in to grab a couple small things at 8: 50 with service hours being till 9: 00pm. At 8: 53 we were told we’re closing the doors very bluntly, to then we were greeted at the counter to we aren’t being rude we just don’t get paid past 9: 00pm with all 7 staff members standing there ready to leave mind you there were other people in the line and if your closing hours are 9: 00pm then you have a service to provide until 9: 00pm! Then as we’re leaving One male with his back pack on told us “don’t get your knickers in a knot” and “Merry Christmas ya filthy animals” I’ve never experienced anything like it before and don’t think a customer should ever be spoken to like that! Just disgusting! I think the staff need to be looked at!

Food quality is good & staff are very friendly but Prices are way over the top. I only come here if im desperate.

Staff were so rude. We walked in at 8: 50pm and they shouted across the store that they were closing in 3 minutes, when the website clearly says they are open until 9pm. The lady came and located us in the shop 4 minutes later (at 8: 54pm) to say they were locking the doors. Which I asked why as they say they close at 9pm. As we approached the counter, they said “we are not rude we don’t get paid past 9pm so we need to lock it all up before”. I work in retail my self, nor do I get paid after the closing time so I am well aware of how it works. If it doesn’t suit your staff, they should probably get another job as there others would be more grateful to have it. Terrible customer service, extremely rude staff who said goodbye to their “customers” (us) by telling us not to “get our knickers in a knot” and “Merry Christmas you filthy animals”. Whilst having his back pack on ready to leave the store at 8: 57pm. Maybe change ur closing hours if your staff wish to close the doors at 8: 50pm. Disgusting and very unprofessional.

Brilliant place to shop.they have so much to choose from.don't forget to bring your bag.help the environment.

This iga with customer service has fallen to the lowest level.

I worked at dawesville iga when it first started and it was great best atmosphere.

I was refused service for asking the cashiers to wear their mask correctly, words were exchanged and it foul was asked to leave management need to get their employees check absolutely disgusting

Purchased all the necessary ingredients to cook my Nonas special homemade pasta only to discover that the mushrooms (although within the use by date) had gone funky. After wasting an entire meal I returned to the store the following day without a receipt, relying only on the staffs good will. Without question, the team at IGA assisted me, replacing all the ingredients free of charge. Thank you

I have been into this IGA quite a lot and although the deli is well stocked and has lovely staff it closes early, on top of that the fruit and veg in this particular IGA is consistently overpriced and not very good.

Good service, a nice variety all over and great produce! Parking is a treat and Across bays were they should be, A great store.

Very helpful when I couldn't find what I wanted. Staff even reached up high to get it for me. Clean shop. Signs up high to say what is in the aisle. Lots of variety.

I think this shop must be under new management, as I hadn't been in for quite a while, I was pleasantly surprised by the changes, lots of new stock items and plenty of it, good meat section and deli counter looks great.
Prices are pretty good too, well done to the new staff the place looks really well cared for!

Younger staff are always friendly and very helpful. Store is constantly out of stock of stuff and recently has new owners which have jacked the prices up a lot. The older grey haired white guy is quite rude, didn't offer to help pack my bag while pretending to do something else. Bad customer service imo, this guy needs some training himself.

Good prices and very friendly staff but occasionally the stock is lacking and ive needed to go to the supermarket anyway

What has happened here, no stock on shelf, and very unfriendly floor staff, only going in future for stuff we run out of desperatly, really object to rude staff.
