Hype

The staff member I had was so lovely & accomodating in letting me try lots of different shoe styles, but the only reason I needed to try so many is because every pair I liked they had none in my size or they were out of stock. Most shoes I wanted to try they only had 1 men’s size in stock, making it impossible to find any! After about an hour there I had to move on as I couldn’t find a purchase in over the 7 styles I wanted to try. Maybe time for a stock take? ‍️

Like four workers standing around not acknowledging anyone. I walked out after waiting to find out about a size.

Great range of retro shoes. So hard not to get carried away and spend too much here. Staff are friendly.

I wandered into this store today while window shopping for some shoes for my daughter, and was helped by such a sweetheart! She was wearing brown pants and I believe her name was Amisha, I hope I have spelled that correctly. I was having an absolute nightmare of a day but being treated so nicely really boosted my mood. So many retail workers are rude nowadays, and it was so refreshing to meet someone so welcoming. I was only ducking in briefly for a little browse but actually ended up buying some shoes after all. Such a lovely presence in the store, and lovely name too! Thank you Amisha!

My partner bought a shoe for me from the online order system. After I received the shoe, I found I felt uncomfy when I put my feet in the shoe as the size is small. So I came to this store on 20th June Sunday morning for exchange. The guy (Sorry, didn't get his name) at the counter is very friendly and helpful. I have no idea why I didn't get any paper receipt coming with the shoe and I printed out my online order (It's weird that Hype online order is with a logo called Magento on the top left corner without any Hype logo). Anyway, I showed my Hype account order history to the guy with my account email. He helped me sorting this out and an exchanged shoe perfectly fits my feet. Very friendly and helpful staff here️

My son went into the shop tonight with a picture of the Nikes he wanted.
The store didn’t have them but the lovely lady that helped us (sorry didn’t get her name)
was so lovely.
She organised getting them delivered to us.
Very thankful as we live miles away

Had to go in a few times to do some sizing exchanges after a change of mind, staff were very understanding the whole way and very helpful with their own personal experience of wearing the shoes i was purchasing, very good service and lovely staff

Just wanted to do a quick shout out to the girl behind the counter at carousel today 21/11. I was checking each shop there to see if they had any decent prices on docs id missed the sale by ten days. Universal and industrie weren't even interested when I walked in but when I got to hype I told her all of the shops here had the same full price on the style I wanted. She said, I can get you a pair that fits and then when they do come onsale you can buy online (I work fifo) they fitted that good I just bought them. But her act of friendliness and outgoing help sold them really. Thanks for that I didn't catch her name but will be back in there again in the future.

I bought a pair of adidas for approximately $179.99.
On the first day the inner soul kept folding up under my toes in the right shoe. It became so unfortunate it was causing cramp in my right foot.

I went back to the store and asked if they could help me fix it. They just said no you can take to a shoe repair place down there and get them to glue it.
We can’t help you.

You think spending that on faulty shoes they would be more helpful- even offering to take it to the repair place for me would have been decent customer service. This happened on the very first day.

I definitely won’t even shop here again. Foot locker has always been far more helpful to me. This was my first and last Hype store visit ever.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They also aren't scared to recommend other stores if they thinks it's in your best interest.

Got the Converse X NIke Flyknit shoes from here. This store has really cool kicks. Customer service is also good and once they stock an item they rarely restock it again so you're better off getting it when you see it.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Best range available. Prices not the best but the shopping experience makes up for that.
