39If I had known I would be waiting 1hr for the most underwhelming mushrooms on toast, I would have run out of this cafe. Mushrooms were salty, white bean purée lacked flavour, poached egg was cold. I don’t understand why it took 1 hr to make these. I told the waiter I had been waiting 50 minutes and she told me it is usually a 1hr wait. People arriving at 12 were told to wait an hr. Definitely an instagram vs reality moment. Never coming back.
Busy little cafe serving up delicious brunch. The service was excellent with our server recommending dishes. Fried chicken was amazing. Can be busy but had a very short wait for a table when I visited.
The Banana Peanut protein smoothie was superb. The coffee was also very good. The back bar is nice and quiet.
We recently visited Hylin, and unfortunately the food left much to be desired.i ordered Streetx chicken croissant.the chicken was dry and overcooked, croissant was burned and tasted so bitter.the dishes seems hastily prepared. Try to alert the staff but seems they dont really care about customer experience.its disappointing when the ambiance is great, but the culinary experience falls flat.for the price isn't worth the money, and coffee was average.
Had my 30th at Hylin's Back Bar. FANTASTIC. Jess was super friendly and responded quickly to any questions I had! My friends and family had so many good things to say about the venue, the food and the service! I would definitely recommend the Back Bar for anyone looking for a private and intimate venue to celebrate important moments:)
Amazing little cafe! Come here all the time with my girlfriend and mates. Scrambled eggs and the breakfast burrito are my favourites
Went for breakfast this morning.
Two rounds of coffee, all four coffees A+
Poached eggs on toast + bacon. Eggs perfectly cooked, good quality bacon.
Companion is a coeliac. Staff and kitchen went above and beyond to double check her mushroom dish was suitable.
Staff were all super cherpy and helpful. Ate breakkie under a tree, lovely surroundings.
Will be back again soon.
Wonderful place for breakfast. Great range of gluten free options and breakfast items that are a little bit different. Staff are helpful, friendly and know what they are doing which is not something you experience very often at hospitality places. Good coffee and juices, would highly recommend.
Busy, buzzing smallest cafe. The wait for breakky was 30-40 mins. I had the green veg bowl.was healthy n well presented. Coffee was ok.
Nice venue on the corner of railway, shady tables under lovely big trees. Awesome menu selection. Mango smoothie was flavourless, milky & warm. Food was nice
Food was fantastic here! Had the 'Brisket Bennie', and was more than satisfied with the result! Great location for a weekend catchup for brunch!
Order and paid for a 2 large cappuccinos, received one small. I asked the waitress she said that’s what I have ordered, check my payments, paid for large. Service not friendly.
I loved Haylin, this is a special place to have brunch.
The food is delicious, the ingredients are of high quality and prepared with care in pairing.
The coffee is also very well prepared, the one with melted chocolate is delicious.
My favorite dish is the amazing Open Brekky Burger, if I could I would eat it every morning.
I also have had the Hylin Beff Burger and it is very tasty, I liked it.
I highly recommend the restaurant for brunch.
Amazing brunch - the best smashed avo on toast I have ever eaten. Breakfast burrito also top notch. 10/10 - would rate 12/10 if I could. Go go go.
Been here a few times now. Always about 11ish on a Sunday.
Although not pumping, food always seems to have a long wait.
Also they have huge toilets and no children's changing facilities. We had to change our bubs nappy on the grass.
This is the only thing that holds it back from 5 stars.
Food is great and as is the drinks and best banana bread I've had in a while.
If they speed up and add a changing tables it would be 5+
The best coffee shop in Perth! The Muffin are amazing, same goes for smash avocado or any other dishes. Delicious coffee and great customer service. If it is possible arrive early it gets very busy or give them a call to book a table to avoid waiting for a table.
Great vibe, awesome food, and good coffee. The fried chicken croissant is mind blowing. Will revisit and bring friends with me.
8minutes queue to order, food came less than 10mins and finished it in less than 10mins,
beautiful presentation, food taste really good, will coming back for sure
Bit loud inside for a Cafe in my opinion but the coffee was great and the staff are super friendly and I could tell had a passion for coffee.
Great music the moment you step in, set up for great vibes, coffee, bagels sandwiches and burritos. Definitely recommend the shirt trip down from rhe city
