Hush Specialty Coffee

Love the vibe of this spot but there are 2 things that are pretty frustrating (thus 4 stars) :
1. No I internet
2. They'll randomly close early. Like 2 hours early.

Otherwise love this spot for getting some good work in or a chat.

The coffees are still great but the food portions from the menu have gotten really small. Delicious sweets and cabinet options still available though and some really terrific staff

Quite expensive, 10% surcharge because it’s a Sunday?
Coffee tasted salty. Won’t be back.

Stood waiting to be served then had a person that walked in front of me get served. Even though I hot looked at a few times without being asked my order. Coffee was ok but had better in Fremantle.

Average coffee and really grumpy man in the front cashier. Looks like every question is an effort to answer, extremely rude and have heard of several people that don’t go here anymore due to his service. Should be evaluated further

Coffee was almond flat white. Good!
Steak sandwich was excellent.
Chicken Ceaser was excellent.
Cleanliness was better than the staff that didn't want to be there.
Don't lose your cook. Nice guy you can see n talk to.
Facilities clean.

Dec 2022: nice coffee place round the corner from Quest hotel where our friend stayed. Mushroom toast is tops! So was the bacon and egg toast. Coffee was good too!

Wanted to try Hush based on their rating, and the coffee was excellent! This place is pretty much always busy, so expect a short wait. Staff are rather efficient though, so you will be served reasonaby quickly.
I found the atmosphere rather noisy however, as there were a lot of people around, and they were enjoying themselves! All in all, great coffee, nice food and efficient service.

Every time I come to Freo, this is where I get my breakfast each morning, they have the best coffee. My breakfast is always Mushroom toast with short black or cappuccino and it always delicious.
It can be very much busy, so expect a short wait. Staff are very efficient and friendly.

My coffee order came out with a hair in the glass, after gently letting the waitress know about it she said after frowning at me: “sorry about that.what do you want, another one? ” I asked for a new one however my appetite was already ruined. She brought out the new one with a dirty (!) straw (the white paper straw had brown marks all over it). I told her I’m sorry I don’t really feel like drinking this. She responded: do you want your money back? I said yes please. She came back and threw (!) the cash on my table. Very disappointed with the service, this situation could have been dealt with if the waitress had some manners. Won’t be coming back even though the place has a lovely atmosphere and nice food.

Every time I come to Perth for work, this is where I get my coffee each morning, they have the best skim Mochas!

Coffee was good. But I was very disappointed about staffs:) I don’t think they wanna work this job (man at the counter n waitress girl). And I felt like drought in the cinnamon bread.

Very cosy place and yummy sandwiches But unfortunately the pastries and cakes were bit stale

Food and coffee is great. The coffee gets really busy so if you're hungry have a look at the menu before you come in because you can't see it from the end of the line. Staff are really helpful about allergies and all the food on the menu had a gluten free option.

Not a fan of the coffee - always seems burnt, also ordered avo on toast as take away there and the avocado was off

Good coffee and from my experience good cabinet food. They have gluten free options, the one I tasted. But they have other options that are vegan and veggie.

I really liked the local, they have two floors and terrace. The service was kind and fast.

I know it is not family focused but it would be nice to have a highchair.

Good specialty coffee. Solid flatty and cold brew was on point, definitely meets the mark when you are after a specialty brew. Would come again.

This coffee shop is in the house that was once home to my wife's mother in the 30's so it was a bit of a sentimental visit. Anyway, A coffee shop that makes good coffee is always a good start. It's looks a bit grubby and worn from outside, maybe that's the look they're going for. Inside is much more promising with seating available and an upstairs area available for seating as well (though it was closed off when we were there), there is also some outdoor seating. A good selection of light snacks, rolls, croissants and cakes/muffins are available. Nice spot for a week made coffee.

My friend had the granola and it looked very colourful and tasty. My bacon and eggs was good.
No eggs benedict on the menu.

Love the vibe. It feels like Fremantle. And the coffee is worth stopping in for. I appreciate the "straight forward" not to fruity taste of their beans.
