H&R Block

Always done my taxes at H&R block for the last couple of years and never had an issue but this morning the lady said that I could not claim things that I could in the past. The lady was late for a the appointment when you set an appointment you should be able to keep that time. Last time I will be going to H&R block

H&R Block at Innaloo made doing my tax return a breeze and my accountant Karma was very professional and explained things in an easy to understand manner. Very impressed, thanks H&R Block.

My friend stop dont go there they rip off they indian are really bad dont have any idea how to do tax return my first time with them today and i what i got nothing they dont put any deduction or any expensise charge $99 and that indian guy click fill up only form thats all

Worst experience of my life. They were very unhelpful I could not understand the guy at all his accent was very strong. Would not recommend this place at all, so unhelpful.

Professional and friendly staff. I had a complex tax return which was handled with professionalism and I received regular updates on its status. Highly recommend.

They were quick to get me out the door. Didn’t ask many questions. Got a small bill but a small refund. Had to pay to have it redone. My advice: pay more for the accountant that cares the most and get a bigger refund

Having been let down by our usual accountant who was running terribly late I was very pleased to get another appointment on the same day with an accountant much closer to home. Very much appreciated. And they were running on time. Much more professional.

We always get the same tax accountant and she is excellent we can always get into see her within a day or two and their price is very reasonable. We’ve been going to them for 7 years and very highly recommend.

Living in Karratha can be a pain come Tax time however these Ladies take the effort completely over and dominate, I was finished in 20 minutes over the blower and was very happy with the return. I was very impressed with the speed and awareness on what can be claimed.

We have used H&R BLOCK for many years and are more than satisfied with our Accountant's knowledge of the tax changes that occur each year and her professionalism that gives the best outcome.

What complete time wasters. Book a 12: 30 appointment, advised on arrival 10-15 delay. 45 minutes later I am advised it will be at least another 30 minutes! How on earth does the delay increase and why even bother booking.

Maybe I shouldn’t have been polite. A 12: 45 booking complained when she was advised of the wait and was then seen at 1: 05.

Way to value your rude clients rather than those who don’t complain.

Managed to get a late afternoon appointment at very short notice and was pleased with the locality of the office to where we are staying. Tax return complete with minimal fuss. Kamini was very efficient and helpful. A stress free way to get your tax return sorted.

Not very happy. I found out that I could have claimed a lot more last year and I had to pay my new accoutant to do the job again properly.

We have clients of H & R BLOCK in Innaloo for several years. We commenced after our accountant of many years retired and we had disappointing experiences with other Accounting Companies while trying to do our tax return.
Kamini has always been our Tax and Accounting Consultant and we have found her to be 100% efficient, accurate and up to date with the ever changing tax laws. She has always had our best interest as her priority and we respect her ability to the point where we would not make a large financial decision without consulting her first.
We are more than pleased with the service and availability of Kamini and would never hesitate to recommend (as we have in the past) her and H & R BLOCK to anyone needing a reasonably priced and accurate tax return.

I had two tax returns done here. The service was okay, but I'd say minimal. The English of the lady I dealt with was difficult to understand, hindering my experience. They had also double booked and I had to come back in a few hours. I don't know how other accountants work but I was charged the same amount for each year even though the second year would've taken half the time to complete. I will be looking elsewhere for my next tax return.

Firstly, this review is based on my only experience with H&R, it may not be representative of their service as a whole.

I completed a very basic tax return for 2 years (was charged full fee x 2, no reduction in admin or handling fees). I needed to do an ammendment myself at a later date to claim for exemption to Medicare Levy.
Unfortunately the agent who handled my return had less than perfect english and communication was an on-going problem. She appeared to be significantly lacking in knowledge of the ATO's systems and completely unwilling to provide any help or assistance with my queries. It came to light that she had supplied my with false information which delayed my ability to claim the Levy Exemption. After a somewhat rude response from the Agent, I was able to speak with her manager who was clear and helpful.

Unfortunately however H&R were ultimately of little or no use to me and I feel it was just money wasted. Again, this may be my just my particular case, but the manner in which my queries were handled was utterly un-professional and would lead me to put no faith in the competence of the office.

Avoid if possible.
