It was a strange experience as everything is self-serve now. So appeared quicker. The seating was amazing, so comfortable.

Great Cinema, just if possible, to have less advertising before the movie starts. 30 min of advertising is quite a lot

TOO MANY ADS. I’ve paid for the movie, not to watch 30min of ads starting at advertised start time

Loved Hoyts Karrinyup, comfortable recliner chairs with alot of room also liked the way the snack bar was set up. Great place will go there from now on to see movies.

Great theatre but make sure you park near as it's a long walk through the shopping centre. Great accoustic sound and watching experience.

The cinemas offer recliner seats in all their theatres, providing a comfortable viewing experience. The iOS app enables convenient pre-booking with the option to select specific seats. Their rewards program offers good value for ticket prices. However, the food and beverage costs are significantly high. Despite this, these cinemas remain a great destination for watching new movies.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I always go LUX when going to the cinema. We sat in the front row this time. It was a little too close for the screen. Next time, I won't sit closer than the second row. As always, the food was amazing. But this time, the popcorn was a little cold. Also, my straw started to unravel after only 5 minutes, so I can only assume it had been sitting in the drink for a little while before they brought it out. I got the BBQ Chicken and Bacon Pizza. It tastes divine, but it is very saucy, so make sure you open the napkin and wear it as a bib to protect your clothing. The mac and cheese balls are worth every cent! And the chocolate hazelnut ice cream is to die for. We saw the live action Little Mermaid. The sound quality was great, and if we were not so close, the picture quality would have been great, too. If there was a movie I really wanted to see and front row seats were the only option, I'd sit in them again. But I'd prefer 2nd row and beyond.

This the second time I’ve come to Hoyts karrinyup Lux.

Jacob, Alyssa and Gemma are on it! Really happy with the service and passion they bring towards customer service.

Definitely need to try the LUX cinemas, especially on a cold night, just turn on your heated seat recline back and be transported to a new world and experience

This review is based on the greed of Hoyts as a company. I visited today and was flabbergasted to be charged $7.50 for a bottle of water? ! The staff and the venue were great, but charging $7.50 for a bottle of water is a disgusting example of greed! Obviously you expect to pay more at the cinema, I expected the water to be $3-4, but $7.50, is insulting to your customers. I will no longer be supporting Hoyts and will be taking my business elsewhere.

The manager Lucy was lovely and held a glass for me as I purchased a beverage for the purpose of keeping the container.
However someone threw it out so she got it/one from the end of day trash so really appreciate it.
Thank you again.

Staff was extremely rude and refused to sell me an ice cream during my movie. Whilst multiple movies were still on. What’s the point in only keeping half the cinema open? Multiple staff where still working. Pure laziness I hope to see this problem solved next time i visit. Did not appreciate this at all.

Unreal. The ‘xtreme screen’ (perhaps similar to cinemax but way better) has recliner chairs just like gold class. I pre paid an RAC voucher/ticket and saved a few dollars.

LUX movie theatre was awesome. Food and drinks was amazing! The movie theatre was clean, the staff was very polite and friendly. Lastly, the seats were comfortable. This is what I expect for a LUX service! Keep it up.

Fantastic cinema, especially the extreme screen. Each row is isolated from the rows in front and behind and full reclining seats make for a very comfortable experience.

Great family trip to the movies to Lyle Lyle Crocodile. Nice new cinema with everything clean and well presented.

Attended a D-Box session which was a cool novelty but would be awesome with a action movie.

The biggest downside was no Coke (only Pepsi) and no pick and mix lollies (hangsell bags only)

Too many stairs my girlfriend says. Thus, I can only give 4 stars. Not my fault Hoyts, don't blame me.

By far, my favourite movie theatre. The reclining seats were comfy and there was more than enough leg room. The massive screen and the comfort made the experience even more immersive. Perfect for when you want an escape from reality for an hour or two.
