HouseSmart managed my investment property for just under a year after they brought out my previous property manager. I found their communication to the tenant and myself very poor, the manager lacked basic knowledge required for her role, I constantly had to chase them up, there were a number of additional fees in the contract on top of their all inclusive fee, they were prepared to sign off on the final inspection (until I intervened) even though the tenant had caused obvious damage to the property.
