Tash! What a star employee! Made us feel very welcome and was very knowledgeable with the menu items. Helped us choose a delicious, moist fish and gave us helpful, continued service throughout the night. A very pleasant experience.

Very average unfortunately. From the talk up we were expecting greatness but did not deliver. The shark was average and the chips were terrible.

This establishment was highly recommended by several people. I was disappointed with the experience. I had plain grilled snapper and to my surprise, the fish was served wet. I don't know what the cause of this was and from a price perspective, it didn't warrant the charge.

It wasn't horrible by any means, but it wasn't spectacular which what others were proclaiming.

Staff was friendly, service quick, good selection of fish.

Decor was beach shack chic, rather than restaurant, so don't expect to come here for a candle lit dinner.

Parking was great.

Tried this place for the first time.

Very nice fish. Light crispy batter, yummy Cobbler and Spanish Mackerel. The standard fish for the fish n chips is imported Hake. Not fantastic but perfectly alright. Chips were pretty average.

I think they forgot to salt the chips or didn't put enough salt. They were quite bland.

Pineapple and banana fritters we're good.

More upscale and expensive than our usual (Albany Fish and Chips) but overall everything we had was better, except the chips. No crisp, chewy and not salted (we asked for chicken salt).

Will definitely come back again to try other items on the menu.

Service was good and the fish tasted nice, but chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil.

Great food, good portion sizes in a quiet location great for dine in or takeaway, overall the fish and chips tasted great!

Chips r fried perfectly n not oily not smells oil at all. I m impressed however the fish is a bit tough.it could be the Samson flesh is meant to be tough unlike other fish?

Got a shock that they charged me 10% phs, public holiday surcharge. Also it was more dearer than the other & chip places, the shark was nice but the chips were soso. My little pop top was dearer than a 600 ml water, ouch. That's about it.

When your taste buds are telling you, you want GOOD fish and chips.then you find Hooked on Middleton Beach and eat a feed of devine local Dhufish with perfect chips, you know you have satisfied a serious itch!

Quite simply the best fish n chips in albany. If you are after fresh fish they wont disapoint on the dayly catch. Thanks guys for a great feed

Service and food excellent. Could not fault any part of meal that was cooked and service was well above any standard you would receive anywhere

My second visit was much better. Had a couple of very nice pieces of Spanish Mackerel, a very generous serve of chips. 5 Stars.

My partner and I visited here in the summer after craving fish and chips (yes, we're British). We were not disappointed in the slightest, the quality and the flavour of the food was fantastic! I'd highly recommend to anyone who wants good quality fish and chips:)

This is the only fish and chip shop I will ever go to now. I can’t even order fish and chips at a pub as I know I will be let down. They have ruined it for me! Joking aside the prawns these guys do are worth every cent, I woke up today craving them but they don’t open till 3.30: (I haven’t been able to fault these guys yet, always 100% quality and fresh. Fantastic friendly service and fast wait times. If you don’t mind paying a tiny bit extra for quality food then this is the place for you. Taking fish and chips (plus a lot more) to the next level. Well done peoples.

Loved the coleslaw, very generous portions of fish, but didn't like the fact that the grilled fish had a coating on it. The battered fish was delicious and juicy. I think I expected more given that this place won The best fish and chip shop in Australia in 2018!

You can't have good fish and chips if the chips are frozen chips. Fish was amazing but very poor chips they should be hand cut won't come back here again.

Expected the wow factor after reading great reviews. All we got was 2 ordinary fish and chips for the exorbitant price of $46!

Was told that when visiting Albany that a visit here is mandatory for WA's best fish and chips. Yeah, yeah, heard it all before. WOW! They're right. This place is brilliant. You just gotta go. Book a table if you're going in the evening. Yes, that's right. Book a table at a fish and chip shop. Can't wait to go back.

Yes, yes, yes the place to go. The girl that served us was so helpful, thanks for suggesting the vege spring roll whent so well with my chips and Greek salad, my husband had the grilled fish, said it was the best he's had. We booked quiet early and glad we did it became very busy, oh and I do suggest you book.
