Hong Kong Cuisine reviews
39The Yam Duck & Chilli Fish dishes were very nice. The good thing also was it was not over crowded with hoards of people shouting over each other fighting for sound supremecy. Service could be improved but overall a nice little restaurant.
The dishes in this restaurant are decent. My favourite dish is the fish fillet with salted vegie soup.
Good roast duck with Plumb sauce tonight and the beef and black bean was a winner with the kids and also packed with flavour. Friendly staff. Thanks guys
Although there are large servings, this restaurant does not live up to my expectations. The flavours are quite basic and the service needs attention. I witnessed a waitress ignore an old lady as she gestured that the clay pot dish belonged to the person on the other side of the table. The waitress then proceeded to leave the old woman to manoeuvre the clay pot around on the tiny table. They also drenched the lemon chicken and rice in overly sour lemon sauce making it basically inedible. This is not the end of it though. They charge people for TAP water and almost everyone in the restaurant was drinking bubble tea from different place.
One of my favourite restaurants. The food is always good, the staff are friendly and my order is always on time or quicker when I get take-away. I have only dined in once however the food was quick and up to standard with the take-away food which is hard to beat. Overall great asian cuisine!
Fast and tasty food (take away experience only), with all dishes tried so far, being really delicious and of a good quality. Looking forward to dining in, as I think their in house menu is far bigger than the takeaway options (which there is a lot of choices).
Duck dishes are very good, as too Thai Style Fried Rice in Wok, Kew Teow & Honey Pepper Pork Chop.
Lots of parking close and nearby, but this area does get busy (many other restaurants etc surrounding).
Great place for a family and friends grt together. The chef was very talented. The staff was super friendly. The food was yum. The best sashimi i've ate.
I ordered takeaway from this place and it was really good.
The vegetarian fried rice had so many vegetables I was so impressed. Not oily or greasy like other restaurants.
We really enjoy the chilli and salt squid. Packed beautifully. The batter was crispy and a nice salty taste.
Very impressed by their dishes will be ordering more in the future.
Couldn't finish eating the Honey Prawns dish due to the staleness and unusual flavour and smell.
Good quality cheap lunch deals. Service is fast with 30+ dishes all under $10. Nicely decorated medium sized restaurant with plenty of seating available. Small park out the front with seating. Parking can be a pain around lunch and dinner time.
Big portion, fresh ingredients, flavourful soup, friendly service, reasonable price. Hubby and I had noodles during a weekday lunch
Fried beef hor fun with egg sauce was terrible. Other dishes that we ordered ain't any good either.
Great value meal, huge plateful of beef ho fun with egg gravy for $9.50, add hot tea and cut chilli for only $1.50, Awesome.
It was a last minute lunch thing and we saw this place. We had a few noodles dish and one rice dish, loved the noodle dishes, they were so good not sure about the sweet and sour fish it was just OK.
Loving the salt and pepper spare ribs! Coming back here for more, this is my second time ordering the same thing!
Dined here today for lunch. Ordered the Beef noodle for the lunch special menu like we usually do. My girlfriend found a piece of sharp plastic and a little wooden piece in her beef noodles. I told the waitress when we payed and she just told us how the plastic was from the beef container or something. Okay that's great to know.but how did it get into the noodles? It was sharp and luckily my girlfriend didn't swallow it. The waitress looked embarrassed and awkward and just rushed us out. So thanks for not offering a discount or refund for my girlfriends noodles.
Okay good but bad service.left 2 take away containers by accident as waited more than 10 minutes for eftpos machine to reconnect online.called to go back and collect, manager said yes it's still there, so was on my way. 5 mins after, received a call saying that package was thrown into the rubbish by another staff member.after expressing my dissappointment, consolation was offered a 5% discount.
Good Cantonese cuisine. Try the claypot tofu, braised pork, steamed chicken and fried aubergine.
I have been having dinner here multiple times. Great service and the food literally worth to be try. Their steam ginger chicken and steam halibut soy sauce fish is to die for. So juicy and flavoursome.
Crispy vinegar chicken indeed the best I have so far, but make sure you request the vinegar to be separated to keep the chicken crispy.
Fried eggplant sauteed with string beans and soya sauce is one of the must try as well.
