Honeymoon Pool campground reviews
38 Honeymoon and surrounding areas are a must-see place
Driving around, walking through the forests and swimming is absolutely amazing
Also on the left side, there is a rock/hill that you can climb- I loved it
One of favourites spots to visit. Clear cool (very!) Waters to enjoy swimming, snorkelling, kayaking or just lazing on a blow-up tube.
We saw a rainbow trout just at the bottom of the main steps and plenty of other little fish jumping out of the water. Plenty of very friendly ducks too.
Picnic tables and BBQ to use, with toilets.
When it's 35 degrees everywhere else, honeymoon pool is always cooler. A real treat.
It’s a great place for a day picnic and chill out in hot days. It’s kids friendly place but pets aren’t allowed because it’s a national park.
The water was cool. There are only 20 sites, so it's private. I love the forest, trees and river.
So good for family but its just another village of humans. Smells like human, lots of human, campsites pretty close. Would be unfair to rate it based on the beautiful nature, the humans encroached hard on this beauty.
Cute little camp-site nestled between the water and the road. Site and walking trails were easy to access.
First experience at honeymoon pool, my husband and I went there during school holidays for 2nights. The place was nice but I don't feel like private.
Great place for family with kid. If you want more private, I wouldn't recommend this place.
And if you want more quiet, don't go during school holidays! Too crowded
Didn't camp here. Just a short visit but a nice place to camp if you like that sort of thing
Visited the place, has great scenery. Campground available with all facilities. Hopefully will try to camp there would be a beautiful pleasant experience.
The one way drive to honeymoon pool from Wellington dam was exciting.
Not good, we were there and toilets' didn't had water! And we have to go to other camp grounds for toilet!
Even we informed to Kiosk, but nothing happened.
A good place to walk around river and seeing camping ground but freezing river when winter come?
Perfect, quiet camping place in the middle of the Forrest, right next to the calm river.
Single and double parking bays for registered campers (need to book on-line) ; camp-fires subject to bushfire restrictions, lots of shade, camp toilets and water available (boil before drinking.
Can be lots of day-time visitors in the middle of the day, coming for a picnic or to let the kids jump into the water.
Trout are in the pool, but you'll need to be patient.
Gorgeous place to unwind and visit local tourist attractions around Collie and the wider region
Beautiful spot, peaceful and good clean facilities. We are not campers, but if we were, we would definitely camp here. Great walking trails and crystal clear water.
Stumbled across this campsite while en-route to Wellington Dam. Will have to come back and camp.what a beautiful spot. Boardwalk area with steps into the stream. Large shady peppermint trees and toilets also available.
Camp grounds are very clean and close to waterway and flushing toilets. Which is luxury when camping. Great spot for a swim and fish. Only complaint is the camping spots are very close together. However, great family fun.
The place is as charming as ever. However, since River Road became a sealed road a few years ago, the campsite and day trip area became even more popular and even more crowded. Also be aware that the water is ice cold even in summer, as it is released from the bottom of the dam.
A good drive and camping site! Easy access! Short drive from Perth! Best for a relaxed camping trip!
Don't forget to BOOK ONLINE, bookings are now essential and can save major disappointment and inconvenience.
During the times when campfires are allowed, you need to bring your own firewood!
No dogs allowed in the National Park.
The swimming is cold and refreshing.
Our second time camping here. Such a beautiful spot. Campsites are well maintained, spacious and shady under the peppermint trees. The whole family has endless fun playing in the water and bush, a great place to base yourself too check out the other areas of the national park too. All campsites have a fire pit and picnic table. There's shared flushing toilets, and a single tap with non-potable water. While we were there the deck and steps to the water were fenced off for construction/repair but you can still access the water with your kayaks etc from the side.
