Holy Cross College reviews
11 It has been such an honour for me to be chosen as the 2024 Ozanam House Captain at Holy Cross College, Ellenbrook, WA. Holy Cross College is a special school. Located in the heart of award-winning Ellenbrook, the school is built on expansive landscape with state of the art facilities, and equipped with advanced technology. Holy Cross College provides private and Catholic education like no other. The teaching staff at Holy Cross are professional, well-trained, and really friendly. I personally have enjoyed the year 11 LIFE week which is a week of fun activities which included a 3-day camp at Serpentine as well as a 20 plus kilometer nature walk, known as a Camino, where students can walk and talk with their mates.

Did not get accepted because I did not have all A’s. Is that not what a school to help you with? I also heard they make the kids write an essay on why Abortion is bad and if they had the opposite opinion they were not allowed to proceed to the next year or they got suspended.
Staff are good and friendly, but school does have a little bit of a problem with bullying, some kids tend to disrupt the class, school grounds are nice and clean but some bits of rubbish lays around but is quickly picked up by ground staff, people do tend to steal stuff but that is only if it’s worth actually stealing it. Honest review from a Student.
Worst school ever. Only prioritise to Catholic people. Teachers are racist. My daughter going to this school. Every time her things getting stolen in 2 minutes. She went to toilet when she got back iPad charger stolen. And she told to teacher and teacher said I can't do anything. Other day her classmates borrowed her Apple pencil and didn't returned end of the day and next day when she asked they said we have returned it yesterday. And report to teachers and teacher said we can't guarantee that you don't have any proof. Her things getting stolen.so we can't do anything.that they didn't returned
Probably one of the worst schools ever, really sucks.stop being racist, it doesn't help anyone's self esteem.you need to improve most of your teachers, stop meddling in students' businesses, they want nothing to do with you. Care too much about catholic people and uniforms, don't care about students and their studies.
Teachers are racist, and white catholic people are prioritized, teach you about equality when no one believes in it.ellenbrook secondary college is probably better

My social anxiety acting up
Holy Cross is a great school with very involved teachers. I love doing extracurricular such as drama because they’re such tight knit communities. 10/10 would recommend:)
I believe this is a very nice school. It was awarded an Apple Distinguished School last year (2018). Since going here I have made lots of new friends and meet very friendly staff. Lots of facilities which includes a cafe. We have amazing staff like Our IT and everyone else!
Though going to school is commonly referred to as necessary, I think with many chosen professions, going to a public or private school is not required in order to achieve a certain level of competence. As a writer and editor, I would like to say that if I did not go to school, I believe my skills in my profession would be any less. In fact, I think they might be even worser if I had this attended school.
Sure, one can make the case that education is important for children, as they often do not know about what they want to be in the future. However, if you ask children what they would like to be, they often will say things like, “firefighter, ” “policeman, ” “scientist, ” “actor, ” and so on. Thus, they have some inkling of what they want to do already from an early age.
It is in my personal belief that children usually have a solid idea of what they want their future to look like. This concept gets clarified and evolves, although I think there is no reason against children diving into the discipline of their choice from an early age. Instead of making children be involved in a renaissance-man type of education where a child learns about practically every subject at once, I think it would be beneficial for a child to focus on what they truly want to do after attending elementary school and middle school. In most countries, by the 9th grade, children know the basics of mathematics, science, reading, writing, history, and more. In order to be a functioning citizen, getting a full high school education is not required.
Let us take my case. I knew I wanted to be a writer from my first year of high school. In fact, even before that, I enjoyed writing poetry and stories, and not much else. I had a strong distaste for mathematics, history, science, and other technical subjects. I felt that writing was the only subject I connected to, as it was not rote work. You could express yourself and be abstract. It was not just about remembering facts in order to pass a test. In other subjects, I felt I was a robot processing and spouting out figures, algorithms, and formulas.
As an extension of this, I also believe that college should also be centered on one’s major only, as that is how we produce true specialists. That is why I did not go to Holycross college. I feel I did not gain disfavor from this experience, and I am now a content manager within an IT company, making good money.
Sincerely
Ya Boi
