Holly Indian Grocery Store reviews
20I don’t know who was on the phone but really really rude I called to asking about some products and he said i am not free here to find products for you come and have a look omg how you talk like this with your customer?
Expensive than other places and owner don't want to listen it's cheaper somewhere. Very rude and arrogant attitude.
What a shame!
Bought this Sonf from Holly (so called) shop, felt a taste bit different.because it was expired. Can't read without specs, thats why couldn't see while buying.
Why all these Desi stores don't discard expired items?
That's totally unfair. Most of products you guys sell are Expired
Go here for the fish the food and the good ol nostalgia of the friendly grocer back home! What they lack in size of the store make up for it with their ever lovingly attitude and willingness to help!
A very good place to get bengali food stuf. You can get fresh water fish which are hardly available anywhere else
Excellent customer service, products are good -Bengali fishes (frozen), ghee, parwal (frozen) are some of them.
Quality ethnic produce from India and Bangladesh. Meat, fish, masala and many grocery items are reasonably low priced, lot of varieties are available to choose from. Moderately crowded, plenty of car parking. Balaram and his family is very friendly. Customer service pretty good!
Good one. Anyone looking for any Indian, Pakistani, Srilankan or Bangladeshi grocery item would get all those here. Parata and frozen snacks collection could improve a bit.
I could have given a zero review if I could. Things are expensive according to the other indian grocers. Ripping of customers and no refund policy at all. Also, you have to spend a minimun of 10 dollors if you want to buy only a dollor thing.
Small shop that has really narrow aisles. No butcher available. Please be aware that they have many expired consumables on display. They clearly do not reset their inventory.
Excellent Shop. All the necessary groceries for Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani People are available here. The price is very reasonable
We were a regular customer customer of this store.every month we used to shop over $150 on average.however, we stopped going after the owner charged us for 4 kg of rice when we actually bought only 2 kg
Good Asian store to get groceries. Would be super good if the space to walk around the store is wider. Its very narrow space to pass through or else its great place.
One stop shop for all your desi spices and needs. Very friendly and helpful owner. Wide variety of spices from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Grear place for Bangladeshi fishes as well.
A shop for Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis. You can most of the spices of carry and meat. Rice, dal, ghee, oil, flour, aromatic rice, puffed rice, gum peas, very thing is available here. Frozen fish of bangladeshi varieties are also available such as rui, pabda, hilsha, puti, tengea, etc. However, price is almost 10 percent higher than NP supermarket which is located next to it.
I have been a daily customer of Holly Indian for a couple years now. Owner is very friendly and has outstanding knowledge and customer service. Prices are reasonable and the store prides itself on high quality and presentation, unlike the stores around it. I have never had a problem at this store and I highly recommend a visit.
This guy is a rip off, laundry purposes if you need coin change this guy would charge 20 cents behind each dollar so for $10 he would give you back $8.
Rather then ask to buy a drink or some thing he wouldn’t even then give you a change
One of the worst grocery store I have experienced. Extremely poor customer service, poor hygiene and presentation. When I last visited there were products laying on the floor in puddles of water and the meat I ordered was of terrible quality. Would not recommend, in fact the Halal butcher almost next to this one is a much better alternative.
They selling Bangladeshi/Myanmar fish that very tasty and fresh like Hilsha, Ruhu, Ayer and large variety more. Only one problem with products but they replaced it. Very clean and good customer service. Products cheap as well.
