Hobart Deli reviews
55First and last time here. Slow service, unfriendly staff, poor coffee. Plenty of other cafes to try in the area and would recommend giving this place a miss.
The food is so delicious! Especially the Korean sandwich is really big and delicious. The coffee was nice, too. If I live in this neighborhood, I would be a regular customer!
Service is slow and prices have gone up a lot. Reasonable food and drinks, good if you're taking kids to the park across Tue road, but I would no longer go out my way for a coffee there
Friendly stuff, delicious food with genuine costumes service. Couldn't be more happy to have breakfast at Hobart deli
Edit 2023: I have tried the Korean Sandwich. And it is delicious.
Always reliable. Always excellent. The food is great and the coffee isn't too bad either.
Always a buzz with people. Lovely team. Great selection of sweet and savoury - a personal favourite is their chocolate and banana bread. They have a playground just a skip away to keep the kids busy. Pets welcome.
Toasties were affordable and delicious, i especially love the bread as it has a chewy texture even after being toasted! I had the mushroom toastie which came with a decent amount of shrooms. Service is wonderful and I love the vibes of the place.
A nice local cafe that's been serving the locals for years with good honest food, cakes, pastries and coffees. Our latest visit included a Bacon Benedict and a Shakshouka. Both were solid cafe brunch choices.
Service is good and always efficient. Even with a steady flow of customers lining up and ordering at the counter, the wait is always not long. Seating is a bit tight but there's indoor and outdoor seating.
There's plenty of street parking nearby.
Coffee was outstanding! Food was delicious and came out super fast. Friendly wait staff and I like the vibe of the place. Display selections were extensive and all looked great. Definitely returning!
Went to this place for lunch and ordered the Korean Street Toast. 20 dollars. There was Ham and egg in it. Tasted good. Ordered a Beef Sausage Roll for my son. Didn't finish so I ate the rest. Tasted good.
Coffee from this place tasted good.
There is a park across the street that is suitable for small kids 5 and below
Truly a hidden gem. It was a combination of the yummy yoghurt cake (like homemade), outdoor seating, and helpful staff. But it was also the friendly customers from the neighbourhood. The park opposite made it attractive to mums and dads, so there were lovely babies (they had some cute baby clotheson a clothes rack). The Ibis popped over, and a willy wagtail came to drink water near my feet. Can we have more neighbourhood cafes where the wildlife can visit?
There's a blonde girl who works here who is absolutely stunning.
Food was pretty good aswell.
Love Hobart St!
Great, fresh food with friendly staff. My ‘go to’ within North Perth/Leedy area
I love that they have a menu dedicated to each season. My fave is still their salmon benny - I think that’s autumn and their wrap with mushroom bacon and cheddar. YUM! It’s a nice place to chill and drink. There is a kiddy park across the road if you wanna sip your coffee there. Nice atmosphere too, I prefer sitting outside cause Perth has beautiful sky to look at. And I like people watching. I love their toasted banana bread. They tend to get busy as heck in the weekend, even in the early hours.
Lovely little local cafe, good food, with a few vegetation or vegan choices, along with the usual range of coffee and drinks. In door or outdoor seating or a nice fenced playground straight across the street to take the kids and your coffee too.
Nice little spot, food and service was good, I had the spicy beans and chorizo. Menu is simple, coffee's good
This is a great little cafe situated directly across a large playground, perfect for grabbing a takeaway coffee before heading across the road to let your kids run wild. If your kids are of the pooch kind they are also dog friendly!
I tried:
Hobart Avo Toast (GFO) $21 - Linseed sourdough with crushed avocado, heirloom cherry tomatoes, pickled fennel, smoked pepitas, spinach salad, balsamic reduction - this was fresh and delicious, and a huge serving!
Oat porridge ($18) with earl grey poached pear, maple, coconut & almond granola, dried cranberries - the poached pear was amazing and perfectly cooked.
Chocolate & peanut slice - very rich and decadent
Matcha Latte ($4.50) - loved it, and so reasonably priced!
Delicious food, good serving size! I got the breaky burger and a fresh juice! Super cozy atmosphere with lots of seating. Friendly staff. Love coming here!
Great food and coffee, friendly service and nice atmosphere. I miss the Hobart deli "play ground" (full breakfast), however, it's easy enough to recreate from the sides available on the menu: D
Excellent food had the salad, a delish coconut cake. Great service.
Friendly atmosphere, kids were there so very kid friendly too.
