Himalayan Restaurant reviews
58Love the food and taste - simple and sumptuous. A staple go-to place after a busy morning. Tried thali for the first time here and delighted as always.
Loved it. Clean and tidy. Some soft furnishings so not too noisy. Great food & service. Will definitely go back.
Organized Diwali Lunch today for my Office colleagues and the feed back was nothing less then. " amazing". "tasty". "get me more". "Is it finished ":). So happy with the food and service and will definitely be ordering again. Thanks Guys!
Food was plentiful and very tasty.really enjoyed our meal.would go back. Staff very friendly and helpful.
First time eating Nepalese food so we follow the recommendations of the friendly waitress. We got a mix of momos, all of them delicious. The chef's goat curry was very tasty and the meat was so tender. We also got the 25% discount from the Entertainment book, pretty worth it a visit!
Entree which cost $15 was a total disgrace. Mixed entree more for feathered friend.should really be peck of entree!
Had lunch there and loved the experience! The personnel was really well presented and has clearly studied the menu.
Reasonable food but very noisy when 3/4 full.
Next time I would prefer an outside table. I really liked the momos and the samosas, which were far yummier than normal Indian samosas. The goat curry and lamb chops were similar to that available in a good Indian restaurant.
They have one vego dish with bamboo shoots with an interesting variety of textures and flavours that I have never experienced in an Indian restaurant.
Although they are on Uber Eats, so their full prices have a lot of margin, they are also in Entertainment book.
Visited on a Sunday at lunch time and restaurant was 20% full. The entire place can accommodate about 40-50 diners. Restaurant has a nice Nepalese ambience with many pictures of the Himalayas and has a distinct scent which I assume to be from some Nepalese spice. Food was not bad and portions were average.
However, what stopped me from giving 5 stars was the level of customer service provided. To be fair, the waiter/cashier was a one man show but my friends and I felt his service would have done better with a smile and more pleasant tone. Otherwise, great place for small groups as it isn't too crowded and food quality is good!
Food is good however taken a gift coupon from this place and i had a hard time whenever i am using it. (2 times) last time Deepak called inglewood from where the coupon is intially purchased and cross question me whr u did it. I cant recognise the sign. The 2nd time The guy Deepak looks at coupon like i have done a fraud. Complete shame the way thy treat:) once my coupon is complete i am done with it and never again.
The service and food is good. But the prices are very overpriced. Butter chicken was $23 and such little quantity. Its a total rip off. And the goat biryani quantity was less at $17.95. I felt they over charge cause a lot of people visit the restaurant however the prices are high compared to normal indian restaurant standards
The guy with glasses at the counter needs to learn how to make their customers feel welcomed n also put smile n respond well to customers, and not to make people feel unwanted n throwing food to them mannerlessly! Very poor service from the receptionist.
Delicious curries and great service. We had the sizzling prawns and chicken saag with cheesy naan. So good!
Great food (chicken Momo's, chilli chicken is my fav) helpful staff, quick service, highly recommend.
Top quality food, cosy atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Staff could be a litter more cheery!
Restro is at the heart of Victoria park, one of the bustling suburbs of Perth. The restro serves good blend of Nepalese and Indian dishes. Good service and recommended to all.
Food fab, fresh and delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. We got in early evening before it got busy. Reasonably priced too.
We took our two babies under two and the staff couldnt have been more helpful and friendly. The restaurant is quite spacious so there is no problem accomadating the provided high chairs. The food is delicious but the staff are what makes it! Recommended for families with easy stroller accessible parking nearby!
