Hillsong Church Perth Campus reviews
8Wonderful worship. Uplifting message. As visitors on holiday we felt very welcome. Great Kids Church program I think - our girls asked if we could go again.
Hillsong Church Perth are currently holding their services at the Octagon Theatre UWA.we attended recently and were very impressed by the worship, message and the warm welcome. THANKYOU very very much.
I thank God daily for giving us Good people in this World. Because it sure does make this world a better place. ️️️
Definitely a five star church! Having considered Hillsong as my "home" church in Australia, initially in Waterloo and now in Perth, for the past 15 years or so its hard to not be a little biased I guess.
Its an interesting church though, one that generally seems to stay connected to Gods spirit. The thing that gets me the most are the amount of times where I've been away or overseas, and yet when I've come back they've been on exactly the same page despite moving independently of my own thinking. I'm by no means the gold standard, but it is rather special to have a church that both challenges, but equally I'd in tune with the spirit!
Aside from that, its a church that's always filled with life, the single most important thing in my view, especially considering we worship the God who is the author of ALL life!
They're also a welcoming bunch, sharing, caring and great coffee!
Of course, being "pentecostal", they do tilt a little to much towards things like tithing or following the routine of the service/ " saving souls" etc.
BUT
A really important butt! We can't live in little "offences" or constantly take issue with these sorts of things. All in time God will reveal everything! I remember years ago I suggested open sourcing Hillsong's music to one of the heads of media along with the thought that we could "virtualize" church (ie YouTube style connecting), but it was pretty much scoffed at! At the time I'd been a little annoyed because it felt as if God wanted to really move but we were shackling him with our own legalistic spirit.
BUT.
I didn't let it get at me, simply trusting that in time, God would do his work! And what a beautiful thing he's finally done! Hillsong's online campus is just a part of where nearly 15 years ago I'd believed God was leading!
So that's my advice! Don't live offended, we're all family, part of one body. Stay strong in God, stay planted in the good garden of Hillsong (or any other church for that matter!) And know that God wins always! Even if your ideas, your vision or where you may feel God leading isn't quite where things are currently going, in time, God will have his way, and if you're still there God will use you!
Enjoy, awesome room in Gods big house, share the love!

It’s mine blowing the worship is amazing the preaching is wow wow amazing the people are amazing it’s like you can’t get enough that’s why I’m so happy to call Hillsong perth my home.thankyou Jesus
Famous for its worship music across the world, listened by Christians everywhere of many denominations, but what it lacks is the preaching from the Bible. A fundamental error in a lot of the charismatic circles is the weight that is put on ones experience and 'moment from God', to the detriment of the scriptures themselves. In so doing indirectly putting ones experiential moments as the authority above the Word of God. Sin is hardly mentioned followed by a heart-felt be a better person type talk. Rather preach how Christ is amazing its more how you can be amazing in what you do? Gospel is half preached but seriously need to challenge NOT Gods promises for your life and claiming them, treating God as a genie then forcing his hand because he has too obey your claims you have made but challenge TOO repent of your sins lest you die separated from God. Unlikely you will hear this as ears like to be tickled. Music is good and genuine Christians there but the 'truth' is a little obscure and hard to find in a setting like this.
