Hidden Valley Eco Lodges & Day Spa

Excellent place to unwind and disconnect. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Would recommend and will come back.

We booked in here for the night of our wedding and a little honeymoon the day after. It was well worth it. This is such a peaceful spot, with an amazing day spa. We had a hot stone massage each the day before our wedding and it was the best 90 minutes we've spent in a long time. The rooms are beautiful and well kept, and the food hampers were incredible. Definitely a place to relax and unwind.

Husband and I visited and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Had a package of massage, overnight stay with self cooked bbq dinner and self cooked breakfast.

Reception was welcoming on arrival. Welcomed us to sit advising on possible wait time prior to being accepted through for our massage. Lovely quiet area. Has infused water to hydrate pre and post massage if your want/require. Only down side was two guests had finished their massage and were in the waiting lounge, waiting to be taken to their lunch. The guests were obnoxiously loud discussing life that could have respectfully waited. I wish other patrons would respect other patrons who have come to relax.

The massage was lovely. I had a great therapist who considered my warmth and pressure needs. Over all I thought the massage was great. As always never long enough. Especially when you finally relax and before you know it, it’s over. It was very relaxing for both of us.

We went back out to reception where we were shown around on the way to our property for the night. We were advised we could visit the resident Alpacas. We stayed in Orchard Lodge. Food for dinner and breakky were already in the fridge ready to go when ever we were ready and after that we were left to our own devices. We found there wasn’t a phone in the room or a general number to call for reception for enquiries or maintenance if needed during our stay like if you are accustomed to a hotel setting. Personally I thought it was fine. We had access to the facilities wifi which was fine as our own providers reception struggled in the area.

Spa was pre heated ready to go. We were verbally advised how to use the bbq. We hung out for a little and enjoyed some of wildlife passing through. Saw some cute wren like birds, brown and some blue on the other. We also saw a Kangaroo in the area.

The lodge had mostly everything you needed or wanted. My only suggestion would be to BYO drinks and water. The complementary champers we had wasn’t for us being a brute champers but was appreciated. If you are fortunate to have port as a complimentary drink, allow the port to breathe after pouring as it is quite lovely. We found the water from the tap average. Other then water from the tap, there is nothing else. The complimentary cookies were brilliant. There was also popcorn, but we didn’t get there.

We felt one night was brilliant. I didn’t leave as I do most places, like it wasn’t enough. I was highly satisfied. I was really relaxed and was able to have complete privacy for the duration of our stay.

Apart from that, I think Hidden Valley has set the bar high for when we get to do this again next time. Highly recommend for some RnR, down time, quiet time, adult time or what ever. I need a mental health break. I was down and out, burnt out. I eft in a better place.

I came for the 2.5 hour experience with my girlfriend and Mom and found that it was too rushed and massively overpriced what it was. Wish I’d of spent the money on going to the Ritz.

Couldn’t even sit down after the massage and chill (closing time was straight after my massage so don’t book for 2: 30 pm onwards)

Lodge was beautiful and internals were great, nice little secluded environment and very quiet which was nice.

Scones and sparkling were really nice, they did a great job with the food and drinks for the lodge part.

Spa was slightly warm but needed to be hotter and cleaned.jets wernt very powerful at all. Spa was from the stone ages.

Massage was very very average, wasn’t what I was expecting from all the good recommendations I’ve looked through.

Glad I tried this out before booking a romantic getaway with my girlfriend properly and spending a lot more money.

Would consider returning but would have to be one of my later choices from other facilities unfortunately.

Best staycation I have been so far, they have everything, except bring your own clothes and toothbrush optional your own food, fridges, and barbie are provided. The massage service is pretty lux. The staff is amazing, from the front desk to the massage therapist. They kept it really friendly and professional, the best staff you can ever have.well done! I hope this will be the same for a while and they deserve some pay rise. Thanks, Hidden Valley you are doing great!

We had a marvellous stay the room was beautiful. It's quiet and serene and warm and comforting. Highly recommend a night or 2 here.

Extremely poor experience - we left a day early! My wife and I have stayed here before and had a great experience but this time was different. We were put in the Red Gum lodge which is a much smaller lodge than the others and it was littered with problems. The shower couldn’t maintain pressure or hot water, half the stations on the tv wouldn’t work, the air con unit needed a service as it loudly stopped and started throughout the night, and to top things off there were loud scratching noises coming from the walls/lodge next door all night which kept us awake. We called reception for help on Day 2 but they were unable move us or fix anything. The final straw was when we tried to cook using the kitchenette and the stove wouldn’t even get hot enough to cook our lunch. We called reception again but they’d shut early for the day. We left a whole day early, crazy considering the cost of this place! We used to love this Hidden Valley and had special memories here years ago but now it seems it’s declined and we won’t be back.

We stayed one night at the lodge. In my opinion, it's an overpriced experience. Lack of communication: we learned in the morning we had to leave the room at 11am and that could rent a DVD. The massage was not he best but the food was good especially the meat. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the hammock.

Hidden Valley is a true gem. We just stayed there again after visiting a few years back and the quality is still 10/10. The staff are friendly and welcoming and every little thing has been thought of. So many thoughtful touches in the room that we haven't seen at other places.

The peace and quiet among the trees is a welcome rest from city life. We spent hours just swaying in the hammock watching the leaves gently swaying in the breeze, sipping bubbles and chatting. So good.

The food was top quality. That steak! Omg. We highly recommend the BBQ pack and the breakfast one too. What luxury!

Oh! And the massages! Do yourself a favour and start off your weekend with one for sure. The best way to create a break between the work week and your weekend away.: D

Took a trip out to Kalamunda for lunch. It is literally minutes away. Did a little fruit picking at a local orchard, too.

Overall just a perfect weekend retreat. Definitely coming back yet again and would recommend without hesitation to anyone wanting the perfect weekend escape.

Thank you to the owners and the staff for creating such a bubble of peace and pampering so close to the city.

We had a 2 night stay. Beautiful room. Massages were wonderful and relaxing. The food was very generous. The whole experience was everything we needed. We will return. Highly recommended

We had an amazing time. Karen was wonderful and her firm massage was really firm! The rooms were beautiful and the jacuzzi was lovely. Floors in the massage area were heated. Will definitely do this again.

The foot soak and the massage did not go for the stated allocated time as advertised. Furthermore upon arrival to our room, the spa was set on 32 degrees and not on 38 degrees as stated in the welcome booklet. Given the cool weather this temperature is not suitable and was too cold to be enjoyed. I had to contact reception who changed the settings and advised me it would only take 20 minutes to heat up with the cover on, unfortunately this was not the case and took over 2 hours to heat up to the setting it should of been set at prior to arrival. Further this, the jets in the spa were not all working and we were informed that there has been numerous issues with the spa and the jets, however nothing further could be done as the maintenance people had already left for the day.

I feel for the price of what we paid for the massage package and over night stay, it did not meet our expectations of what had been advertised on the website. Additionally, for the price we paid and what we received was not at the same level.

The service we received in feedback was minimal and unsatisfactory.

i see lots of people have had a really good experience but for us personally this was not the case.checked in 530 after work on a tuesday 4 oct we never get away between 4 kids and a business we run 6 days a week.we had duxton booked but decided on this place
spa was extremely cold and not operational
had to call receptionist on her private number we were so looking forward to a hot spa and thought as advertised, meant to be pre heated.
The owner replaced the gas bottle and checked it was now heating but as was a cold night, took 2 hours to reach comfortable temp
we just sat and watched tv very boring when we could of done that at home.nothing was offered for our inconvenience at all and opportunity was given at check out to rectify something.pillows were very uncomfortable i’d suggest bringing your own and room very very small compared to pictures on web site and we got the older style room instead of the more modern they advertise on web
very disappointed never will return and would not recommend, poor customer service on owners part.as a owner of a business that serves customers, customer service is of upmost importance

Just got back from my 2 night stay at Hidden Valley. WOW such a beautiful relaxing place. Leah and staff are awesome including the day spa ladies. Also ordered some of the food, which was all so good and fresh, especially the dessert. Highly recommended if you want a romantice stay, or like me just need a getaway to recharge and relax.

Spent the night here for my birthday and what an experience, the room, the food, the massage, the staff was all 100%. Definitely something to remember thank you guys and to my partner for making it such a wonderful night

Being in the thick of nature was very special, there were Robin redbreasts hoping around, I hadn't seen them since the 70s and Rich is from NZ so he hadn't even heard of them. The rooms were beautifully decorated the music delightful and the food was perfectly perfect. The spa a treat as were the massages and facial. We couldn't fault anything at all and will definitely be returning. Thank you for our lovely retreat.

Only 30mins out of the city is this incredibly amazing resort. Tranquil, romantic and elegant setting. If you are looking to wow each other in the most romantic of locations; we can recommend Hidden Valley. The bed was a super king and it was super comfortable. The day bed in the middle of the lounge room is the perfect place to snuggle up together and let the passion flow. With an outdoor spa providing absolute privacy and seclusion there is nothing else in WA that can even come close to matching Hidden Valley Eco Lodges.

Love that its isolated in the forest! Just peace and calm is what i needed in a restful getaway and the massages too! Would highly recommend and would definitely come back for my next birthday!

Relaxing adult retreat. Massage was fabulous and food was good although missed having somewhere nearby to buy food as got hungry later.
