7Very cute little hut with a great outlook over the forest. Stayed here during a particularly windy/rainy night and noticed a bit of leaking from the roof, down the back wall near the lower sleeping platform. Other than that, all the facilities were adequate.
First hut on the Bibbulmun Track hiking North to South, about 10km from Kalamunda. Comfortable and clean. Wake up with exotic bird song in a beautiful fairytale forest.
Good clean and quiet place and there is a long drop as well. Best to go prepared with a tent and camping gear if planning to stay overnight as sometimes the hut is full and you have no choice to put your tent up for shelter.
The first hut heading south on the Bibbulmun Track a great place to try out gear or for a first overnight experience on the trail. Beware though it can get busy on weekends, bring a tent.
I hiked to the hut from northern terminus in the pouring rain all day what a day it was on the trail loved it
Gorgeous little shelter, well looked after! Would be great if people picked up their rubbish though, as we had to take an Oats packet off a kangaroo while resting here briefly.
Great hut for overnight stays. This is the first hut you come to when starting from the Kalamunda Northern Terminus of the Bib Track.
