Hertz Car Rental Karratha Airport

You guys think you got it bad? !? We got charged $600 for cleaning because the floor mats had dust on them (hello. Pilbara? !?).

They then re charged the entire cost of rental PLUS the cleaning charge. So we are $3200 down.

We saw the photos! They don't justify anything! If they don't rectify this and remove the fraudulent cleaning charge, we are going to have to straight up sue them, report them to the ombudsman, AND they are going to lose the thousands and thousands of dollars of business a year that our company gives them across Australia.

I can see why there are so many 1 star reviews here. What a joke of a place.

EDIT: Oh even worse, they charged this to one of our staff without notifying him or us of what the extra charge was. Straight up took the money from his account in the middle of the Christmas holidays!

Extremely rude girl on front counter, every interaction was terrible. Zero help and no sense of customer service. Will not be using Hertz again.

Every interaction I have had with the woman at Hertz Karratha has involved woeful customer. Very short and rude with any sort of response.

Had to collect our work vehicle midweek as not rentals available on arrival. Pick up was 5pm but due to work was 25mins late. Checked the opening time on google and 630pm advertised as closing. I assumed wrong being a little late would be ok, the desk was shut. Called the next day to check if we could come and collect the vehicle only to be told our car had been given to someone else and I’d have to get another booking. When I explained about the opening times on google, I was rather rudely told not to believe everything I read on google. The lady was very unhelpful, I was told nothing can be done as they were closing. Personally I’ll never use hertz, maybe for other users you might consider putting up accurate open/close times

Cannot reach them at all on the phone. Keeps telling you the number is disconnected! Very frustrating.

To the Staff at Hertz Karratha, I received the most desusting customer services i have ever received, it come from the location manager her self an i dont think that little girl should be on front counter speaking the language to customers, so i canalised my booking with Hertz an went to Europcar fantastic customer services could not thank them enough, thank you Europcar.
