Great location right next to the lake, a shame there aren't any showers but the toilets were in great condition. The camp shelter is not usable as not in a good condition/ under construction.

The real negative from our stay was the miserable caretaker with zero social skills.

Nice place for summer camping, fishing and crabbing. It is also a good place (away from artificial lights) near Perth city to view Aurora Australis.

Great spot. Caravan bays are well set out. It is very clean and tidy. Lots of bins for rubbish. The sign to book a site could be better placed, we had to go looking for it.

Cleanest camp-site we've been to! Only down side is the bays are quite close together but the bays themselves are massive and well laid out.

A wonderful small little place right outside Perth. Not very congested. Nice waterbody nearby and the friendly parrots to share your eats.

Flushing toilets, beautiful sunsets, clean campground, loads of bins. Only issue is having to book online (I should have researched more) crabs everywhere (bring suitable water shoes because they really do hurt) I noticed the regulars either go for crabs or use nets for mullet (nets only on Wednesdays), no other people were fishing (I caught 3 blowfish). Great energy about the place and the people that go here. Will definitely be going again but bringing a net and waders. Was windy during the day but completely died off and was absolutely stunning at night. Nice size camp areas. $18 per night is a bit rich when you are a loner but a great price for families. Rules for generators which is great but it seems most people are from Perth with 150k campers with solar and boats. Would definitely recommend if you live in Perth.

Very nice small campgrouns with beautiful view. No showers, however clean toilets. We didn't get to use the kitchen as it was probably under maintenance.

Large open area. Netting open on wednesdays from 4.30pm. Crabbing whenever season is open. Lovely place

The campground itself was lovely, we went for 2 nights in the second week of school holidays.
I do have a few issues:
- the booking site doesn’t say that the caravan/tent sites are actually only caravan sites when they should because they’re on hard gravel ground so you physically can’t pitch a tent. We had to ring up and change our campsite when we arrived and thankfully there was one free in the tent section on the sand or we would have had to just go home.
- the bush kitchen does have bore water but it has no indication of how to use the tap anywhere and there was a sink in the photos but when we arrived the sink was on the ground and the whole “kitchen” was looking pretty run down and there was no actual areas to use. So I’m not sure how that’s a “communal kitchen”.
- toilets were nice and clean but the caretaker hadn’t filled the toilet paper wheels so we had to buy our own until they finally did.
- campers were all lighting fires despite being a fire ban and letting their dogs run around off lead there was no caretaker to be seen the entire time we stayed.
- honestly for $18 a night I expected more.it’s a bit rich considering all you’re actually getting is a flushing toilet some bore water and a dirt campsite.
I think they need to review the pricing.

Apart from Those small issues we had a lovely time, the campers were friendly and quiet and the bush and wildlife was absolutely gorgeous we will definitely be back as it was a lovely trip

Good for crabbing and fishing. There’s water you can use for your caravan. It’s weekend get-away place if you have caravan. The caretaker of the camp is also nice and friendly. The best time to camp here is during summer or when the sky is clear.

Booking system double booked but amazing camp host got us organised, could only get one night on booking but would of loved to stay longer. Easy access, sites are close to each other but lovely spot, clean toilets access for any size vehicle, amazing views

Positive- stunning view of the lake. Heaps of shade, no shower but with toilet, camp kitchen, views, teeming with native birds, good for all those who do fishing

Dog friendly on leash.

Can be booked online, $9a head, book your site, it’s only a small site so book and choose where you like to stay. No power.

You check in with the care taker before you park.

Looks like someone got crazy and bought the whole woolies supply of loo rolls

Negative- I was going to say shower but there’s a big inviting stunning body of water in front of you to swim and maybe catch dinner while swimming

No wifi. Good tv reception tho.

Great site, easy access to the safe, shallow water of the inlet, good size sites with a choice of sun and shade and a helpful caretaker. Amenities are basic but well maintained.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a quick get away. The caretaker was rude and judgmental. After finally setting up in a spot he said we could stay he changed his mind and told us to move. He would constantly drive past on his moped, making us feel uncomfortable. Toilets were disgusting. He did not care that a family's generator was on early in the morning even when an elderly lady spoke up he still couldn't see how a young person could be right. Will NEVER be back, STAY AWAY
