It was for the annual Fete that I took a neighbour and went. (First time for me.) We went early but since the weather was bad and so cold, hardly anyone came and the poor people had to pack up early and hardly sold anything.
Felt so sorry for them. I went back after lunch to get a few more things but they had left.
Well organised. Very friendly. Well laid out. But did feel sorry for all those who put such a lot of work into it and it was very poorly attended this year and made the folks feel down hearted, a lady told me when I went back.
Will be happy to support them if they do it again a bit later in the year on a better day. Last year, apparently there was a line up to get in the door.

Herald Avenue is a great place to relax and play bridge, eat, or dance. It is worth the visit. Trevor

Just visiting with my family members and have a game of mahjong with the members of the club. Very nice outing with Mum.

I play bowls usually on Wednesdays and Fridays. They are also OPEN for bowls on Tuesday evenings and second and fourth Sundays from 1.00 to 4.00 and fifth Sundays when they occur in the month. Very friendly members and volunteer staff. They have hairdressers and a podiatrist as well. They play table tennis and snooker. It's best to
Phone the centre to get the times.

Had a great afternoon spoke with many members some who were most delighted to have won a prize in the Craft Fair Raffle which was drawn last Saturday.
The many non members who attended the Monday afternoon Bingo seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Dawn P
