Yummy food, wine selection was great too. The Riesling is my favourite.

It took a bit of time to get water to the table and order to be taken, but I think that is because only one staff member was assigned the ground floor for their section, however, our waitress was friendly and was really great despite being run off her feet being a floor server, runner and host/seeing to front door/bookings.

Will definitely come by again. Might try their gin selection next:)

Always at great time at Henry on Eighth!

Consistently tasty food, cosy ambience, and attentive, welcoming staff. The cocktails are definitely worth checking out as is the ever-changing selection of beers. A real highlight of Maylands and WA bars in general.

Henry's is the best local bar you could hope for. The food is always delicious, they have a good range of drinks to choose from, and the staff are all absolute gems. I've been here frequently over the past year and have never had a bad experience. 11/10 will always recommend.

Attentive service and really fast meals at this small local pub. The menu is not extensive but is OK. I had beef burger on gluten free bread, would have been tastier of the meat pattie wasn't overcooked and tasting like charcoal.

While the wine was nice the waitress was not! She rushed us to take our order after shoving the Covid checkin clipboard onto our table once we sat down- as the kitchen was closed we paid for our drinks and finished them before leaving. While half-way out the door she came charging out after us to ask if we had paid for our drinks!
This was not only embarasing for us as we had already paid but she was also making a scene infront of other customers who were looking on. Never in my years of Customer Service would this have been acceptable behaviour.
Safe to say we will not be returning nore will we be recomending this place to friends when they ask for a good local bar.

My local, great staff and has good vegan options ie.delish falafel burger, massive serve of fries (not cooked in separate oil, so ya know) and 2 vegan red wines. Currently has a vegan porter (Shark Eye which I haven't tasted yet. Will update, soon!) Steve, the boss, is boss (!) and the rest of the staff are awesome, too

Not vegan (so no 5th star) but highly recommended, anyway.

Had a lovely evening here celebrating a birthday. Burgers were fantastic, great choice of wines, and a really interesting looking selection of small sharing plates on offer (though we haven't tried any yet, we're assured by friends that they're great). Admittedly the fries were too salty, but once we pointed it out they agreed and took them off the bill, so that was well handled. They've got a selection of board games to play, and it's a great atmosphere. We'll be back for sure.

Henry on Eighth it a great small bar.
They’ve got a nice selection of rolling taps; make great cocktails (check their old fashioned) ; have really good meal-deals through the week (the $17 Sunday steaks are killer) ; they host really cool events (i.e. Board game nights) and their staff are AWESOME.
Get there!

Had a scrumptious burger there! Giving this place full stars for the service and to the lady who convinced me to try the raspberry beer! Best decision ever!

Great vibe, packed bar, busy food service, yet wait staff still took the time to take drink orders at the table- service & hospitality!

I was pleasantly surprised at this little hideaway; the table service was a nice extra touch. Great food too.

Great people, great drinks and.great art! I feel like every time we go here we end up buying something, which is testament to the quality you'll find here across the board. These guys are a Maylands institution. Long live the King.

LOVED this place! Charming service, excellent food and bang on drink recommendations. We shared Beef Tataki, Grilled Halloumi + Pork Belly. For the price point, it’s the best food I’ve eaten in Perth. Considering a move to Maylands to make it our local!

This place is quite unique and a very friendly and pleasant place to have a drink and a meal. The food is nice and the staff are friendly and pleasant. The owner Steve is one of life's true gentleman and he works really hard to make sure everyone is looked after. The place is different but it grows on you and is all in all a really good place visit.

Steve is always friendly and up for a chat. He treats you like you've just walked into his house and staff ensure you're well looked after. Dog friendly out the front, staff happily serve from there. It's a treat to visit this place whether it be for a nightly board game and beer or a lazy Sunday cocktail. This is a must go to place if you're out and about in Maylands
