Health Freak Cafe Cockburn

Very average food. The lady serving the counter had a terrible attitude while serving me. She couldn't get the simple EFTPOS machine to work while I'm waiting with my card in my hand to pay and starts telling me to not run off without paying for no reason at all. If you have a staff that's disagreeable or racist why put her at the counter? Put her in the kitchen.

Do not go here. Their most popular kale and pumpkin meal was so oily I nearly died. I sent it back- they said they ‘preoil’ the kale - soak it in a bucket of oil more like it. Who does that? Utterly gross. Over priced too.

We decided to give health freak cafe another go after our initial visit years ago. Now I remember why we never went back. The food was tasteless. I swapped my poached egg for scramble and I received the smallest portion I have ever received at any other cafe. The coffees were not great either. My dirty chai was so bitter and the cappuccino was like warm and below average. Big portion of food but not worth it

Changed my opinion on this place, was nice to see a healthy place at first, but it quickly becomes apparent how bland keto sweets are (they all taste the same, although they look different), cost a fortune and I've actually never tasted such revolting coffee and chai latte before in my life.

The only good thing here was the keto coconut waffles, and they used to have this delicious coconut ice cream (which seems to have changed from years ago and / or not available) and with the rest of the menu that can be scrapped.

I remember when we first visited the menu was different then it changed and went actually worse not better.

And please stop selling the stuff from the sugarless bakery as their products taste revolting and are a rip off, not a good combination!

Ordered multiply coffee today. They are very expensive and the coffee wasn’t nice and burnt. Especially the coffee frappe

Used to be good, portions have got rediculously small yet price rediculous, even presentation gone down hill, its just not tasty anymore

I always love the food and service here but today I was disappointed with the rude attitude of the lady that served me. Also was upgraded a coffee in a mug without asking and a piece of bacon for the vegetarian dish that I ordered. I understand that you are taught to upsell but perhaps ask your customer whether they want it.

We had a brunch in here and it was bit disappointing experience. I ordered smashed avocado with poched eggs. The eggs were fully cooked. So asked them to cook the eggs again. Same as other dish as well. Amf food was all quite dry. Salted caramel cake was good but lemon cake was didnt have much flavor.coffee was just okay.

The protein bbq pulled pork burger was absolutley flavourless, except for the gamey taste of the pork. Couldn't taste any bbq and there was no marinate. I've eaten here before and everything else has been delicious. Disappointing.

Expensive, staff were unhelpful (7 months ago). Good selection for vegan/vegetarian/lactose free etc.

The sweet potato and halummi stack let you down. I don’t know what was done with the sweet potato but it tasted grainy. There were no condiments on table and neither were we advised were they were located. The service was good and timely and would have been perfect if anyone checked whether our meal was ok.

No room inside. The outdoor area is basically a cordoned off area in the car park. Lacks character and atmosphere. Bit of a let down.

First time at Health Freak Cafe. Had the keto Pulled Pork Burger and Keto Chicken Avocado Chicken Burger. Good flavours. The texture of the keto bun was interesting. Will try the others like paleo and vegan.

The food was OK, my protein pancakes were a bit dry but I love that they put the calorie and macro content on the menu. The service was fantastic, they bought out water for our dogs and checked on us every now and then. I will go back purely for the great service and to explore the menu more.

Had the bruschetta. Very generous portion and very tasty.
Sadly the drinks variety is lacking.

My friend and I really enjoyed our coffee here. Some ingredients were missing from our breakfast, however, after bringing this to their attention it became clear this was a once off. This cafe is run by some passionate people.

Protein pancakes with the toppings were very filling and tasty! Coffee wasn't that strong but beans seemed smooth which is a win in my eyes. Spacious, variety of seating options (including outdoors) and lots of natural lighting. Not too loud and warm inside during winter.

ng tested sandwiches ham cheese tomato all fresh tasty. Quick service, pleasant atmosphere

Great service lovely food and presentation but lacking seasoning of any kind. I order the full breakfast plate. The bacon perfectly cooked. Poached eggs perfect though no seasoning at all. But the cooked half tomato was barely warm and not really cooked through. If the protein/keto bread is cooked on premised it needs to be seasoned more as it had no flavour whatsoever.

Tasty coffee. Disappointed that you couldn't make your own smoothie/juice flavours. Otherwise would have been 5star
