8Poor service these days can't just walk in and be served sad they used to be good but not no more
I went to HBF today and received great service. Chris (I’m pretty sure that’s her name) was very lovely and knowledgeable. I received all the information I needed, and I was very pleased with her service. Thanks again
Very disappointed with the service from a staff at this branch. We came here to apply for HBF insurance to avoid medicare levy surcharge, paying $285/mon and turned out it only included my wife for hospital cover which is mandatory for voiding levy surcharge. We only realised it when extract statement from HBF website.
I called to HBF hotline today to asked about it and added hospital cover for both of us, and it only cost about $260/mon.
I felt really stupid after this incident and extremely disappointed with the service I got from this branch.
If you come here, please be mindful and specific, and remember to triple-confirm if it does include what you need for your purpose. Don’t assume they understand your need and/or know what they do.
Life lesson for me.

After a brief 15-20 min wait my query was answered clearly and I left feeling that I had my question resolved.
The lady Rita was so great! I’m very happy about her help to figure out what my insurance exactly covered and the detailed difference with the product I might switch to soon! Her explanation help a lot to make a decision! Definitely 5 star customer service:)
I was casually in to check if an upgrade for my insurance would make sense. Figured out that I do not require anything else. Instead I've got great advised how to take more out of my current insurance. The customer service was great! I am really happy I decided to jump in.

Kindly remind OZ, NEVER touch and enter with it.
They overcharged us by adding 10% of LHC for years, but now they refused to pay for the interest at least 4.35% of home loan.
Don't forget largest number of immigrants move to OZ at their age of over 31. HBF just assume everyone is born and grows up in OZ, any adding 10% or something like that to their customers.
Anyone who is with HBF, search the word "LHC" in your policy right now and QUIT from it A. S. A. P
