I am really angry with the privacy breach between Cannington and Harvey, Norman and Osborne Harvey Norman that are two different franchisees that had nothing to do with each other, the flooring industry.

What Greg from Harvey Norman flooring did was down right wrong! And I intended to share that with hundreds of thousands of my followers!

My partner and myself got a quote from Rinzan from Osbourne Harvey Norman.

When we got home my partner called Cannington and spoke with Greg the franchisee owner! Who told us he doesn’t have anything to do with Osborn and they don’t share data. So we asked for a quote from him, knowing that this information would not be shared to our surprise
Later on that same day Greg, called Osbourn park and spoke with Rinzan, manager about us that we called for quote!

Now Greg informed us that he would not, and does not share data of any information between any store, and they are separate! Did this!

Rinzan who in return, spoke to me, a few hours later, telling me how Greg had ring and gave the information over which identified us and his words was and I quote if you want to go elsewhere that’s that’s fine but I’m not giving you an itemized quote!

We should not have to feel intimidated or questions for trying to have a better deal in the prices of living crisis!

I am very upset with Greg for personally breaching my privacy and lying to me over the phone! And I intend to follow this up through the proper chains, including directly with Gerry who I have personally met through my uncle! Who I know, for a fact, would not stand for this type of behavior with his brand!

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. I was told on the phone to bring a faulty product back for a replacement. I was told when I got there that they could not replace it as they had to contact the manufacturer.

I then went to another Harvey Norman who replaced the product on the spot.
Would not ever go back to Harvey Norman Osborne Park

The level of customer service at this particular Harvey Norman store was not as accommodating as in their other branches. While I was perusing the computer section and searching for a gift, I attempted to capture some photographs near the Microsoft display. However, a staff member promptly approached me and informed me that photography featuring the Microsoft desk logo within the store premises was prohibited due to copyright restrictions. I found it unexpected that photography was not allowed within the store. As a result of this incident, I made the decision to make my purchase at a different Harvey Norman location where I felt more comfortable.

This review is for the Furniture department. Don’t trust their sales people. In July, we decided to buy a lounge that we only need in December after we were told we could have our deposit back if we changed our mind. Two weeks later, we decided we wanted something different but still not quite sure what we want to get. Tried to get the refund which was not authorised by the manager who said that, in reality, we can use our deposit to buy something else with same or greater value but not a refund.

That is what I call bad customer service and lying to your customers.

I've probably spent 10k in the past 3 months here.
On Saturday 12/08/23 at 12: 20pm we waited 22 mins (!) at the cash register for two staff members (!) to finish their chit chat at the CASH REGISTER. When we asked if we're able to pay (the whole time both staff members did not acknowledge us nor did they understand that we were waiting) the staff member said, they will need to finish their chit chat first. Absolutely shocking. Well I took my business elsewhere and will do so in future. Well done

Just bought a 49 monitor from Harvey Norman is Osborne Park,
Went home and screen was cracked.
They have simply put the blame on the customer to be responsible for this crack.

I'll never be stepping in this store anymore.
E-mail response and correspondence regarding this was shocking, while repeated calls,
No reply, and no answer.

I bought an outdoor lounge set from Harvey Norman Osbourne Park that was delivered broken and unusable. Mistakes happen, and I contacted Annie from Harvey Norman to organise a replacement. Her dismissiveness, poor communication and lack of proactiveness in resolving the matter made me increasingly nervous, and I eventually requested a refund. This led to a rather nasty confrontation with Annie, who was rude, snarky and aggressive over the phone. Please, avoid this place at all costs. The furniture may be nice but the aftercare service is disgusting.

UPDATE:
We had received email confirmation that a refund would be processed on Monday the 1st November. As instructed, we waited three days for it to be processed on to the credit card. By Thursday 4th November, no funds had been received and we called Harvey Norman for an update. The Manager had apparently processed this as a store credit. Not only have they not honoured their refund policy and the consumer guarantee, they have also not honoured their promise to a refund as per their email correspondence to us. Yet again, we have been the ones to follow up Harvey Norman to ensure they honour their promises and customer guarantees. @Harvey Norman - could I please obtain an email address of someone at your head office to talk about my concerns with this store?

The retail and warehouse people are as friendly as can be, a pleasant experience dealing with the staff not to mention I was given a great discount on my purchase, Thankyou Harvey Norman will definitely be back.

Patrick from the TV/tech department was amazing! He helped as a huge amount with price and was super friendly and professional. He is obviously quite knowledgeable and my hubby and I would highly recommend him for your tech purchases or enquiries.

What a big shop with one of the largest variety of products on the floor and in stock. It was a great pleasure dealing with the friendly staff and the manager carted the massive printer I bought with a trolley to my vehicle. Ash thank you for the great service. Keep it up and hope to see you soon. I can recommend them highly.

My family and I went to Harvey Norman on Scarborough on Sunday morning. We purchased two fridges and a washing machine and was very well advised and the service from Brett was outstanding. He was amazing.
However, once we arrived at the cashier to pay the girl who took our payment was very mean and disrespectful. She was chatting with her co-worker and didn't even acknowledge us. Not even "Hi" nothing at all! It looked like she was annoyed because we interrupted her conversation. We said "Hi" to her and she didn't reply back, she just gave us an horrible look and hand us the machine to pay and gave us our receipt and turned her back to us and resumed her conversation with her friend. That was an horrible experience and feeling. She should be trained who to treat and greet customers because sometimes we go back to a store, not for their products but for their outstanding service. So disappointing. Unfortunately she didn't have a name badge, she has half pink hair on one side and half black hair on the other side.

I bought a Linen House plush heated throw rug last week. It barely warmed when on the highest setting for one hour as per instructions.
I returned the next day to Harvey Norman Osborne Park WA and they turned it on and the throw rug did heat because it was folded so the few warm spots heated the blanket quite well while folded. They refused me a refund and stated that it was not faulty whilst also stating that they would not be able to resell it (because its faulty?).
I had to bring it back home and guess what. When it’s turned on and flat (as per instructions and as it is actually used), it is again barely warming in a few spots with plenty of cold spots. When used at the recommended setting of four it would be difficult to distinguish from a non heated throw.
This is the third heated throw I've bought, so I know how they should work, I know that they do not get 'hot', but they should warm evenly across the rug and actually feel warm.
Can’t believe this service from Harvey Norman. Previously I’ve had good experiences and I’ve spent a lot of money at Harvey Norman Osborne Park.
No more. It’s soured my opinion of HN permanently.
I haven't bothered returning, I've ditched the rug and purchased a new one which actually does heat.
So thanks Harvey Norman for the not so fabulous and very ordinary customer service.

Sofie from the small appliances section was superb. Awesome customer service and provided a very competitive price. Better than Appliances Online! If you are looking for any small appliances, walk in there and look for Sofie! ;) well done!

Excellent service from Aaron from Harvey Norman Osborne Park.
We purchased a TV online and the communication from Aaron (I assume works either in the TV department or the receiving department) was Excellent!
We received sms notification on progress and even received a friendly phone call from Aaron to advise of Delivery.
Ordered on a Saturday afternoon and had the TV delivered on Sunday (next day) at a time that suited me (unbelievable).
Delivery was seamless and on time!
Very happy.
