81They were great. Service was excellent and as a result we ordered item. Price was even better than their competitors. Good tec guy there to help if your not so savvy with electronics. Very helpful. A very good experience and was happy to part with my money in exchange for the goods. Will keep on buying there when I need new stuff or upgrades. Been back and bought some more stuff and the service gets better each time. Example- went in to buy a juicer and walk out with new washing machine. They having trouble finding juicer in warehouse so we told when they find it we will buy it. Yeah pretty happy with Harvey Norman.
Made a purchase on line for an LG stick vacuum valued at $1200.
Went about my daily business and while out in town I received an email saying my vacuum would not be due for collection for another MONTH. I made sure, during the process that the item was in stock. I rung Harvey Norman Midland trying to find some resolution, trying to see if it was a logistical error. I spoke to the online manager Rhonda, who was arrogant and rude. Apparently "I" should know that LG is hard to stock, of course that's my job to update the Harvey Norman online stock system. I then tried to find some other resolution by securing one they did have in stock. This was already on special and I asked seeing as this was there admin error not mine would they meet me half way in the cost. She replied this is a $1900 that is already on special. So much for Rhonda knowing her products this is a $1500 vacuum on special for $1300. It was going to cost me another $200. I thought I really needed this vacuum so I took it. Rhonda said she would get someone to update my invoice and to expect a new one with new pick up time.
I waited 3 hours and on the 4th went in to meet with Rhonda. Floor staff were lovely and tried to help, but this was above there pay grade and quite honestly going into my bs territory.
Talk about blaming every body else. Her arrogance was intense and while she was ringing it up, I decided, I would not give this woman 1 more single cent. I told her to reimburse me, I no longer had any desire for this particular product and that I would go to Good Guys to purchase something from them. Ohh the only thing I would give her and Harvey Norman is this review. Do better, Harvey Norman, this is not the sort of shopping experience I want or expect.

The staff was pretty reluctant to assist, stopped by for an online click-and-collect order. Could do with a designated pick-up point to possibly reduce wait times and staff reluctance to help with this type of purchase.
They wouldn't do a $330 price match against JB HI-FI for a laptop. Harvey Norman had it priced at $2559 and JB had it priced at $2199. A few other Australian stores had also brought their price down to match JB.
The laptop was only available to order for delivery at JB HI-FI and other Aussie stores, due to no stock. But the delivery fee was either $0 or around $11 depending on the store. The guy I spoke to said he had the right to refuse a price match.
That definitely is his and Harvey Norman's choice, and I respect that. I just would've thought this massive company wouldn't mind losing $330 to make a $2000 dollar sale.
Rude and unhelpful staff, went to office works instead. Also saw other people who were at HN in Office works saying what rude staff they were at HN and thanked me for saying i'm going to Office works instead.
Did on-line pick up, had towIt 20 mins then ringto remind them I was still there waiting, otherwise service ok
Drew was the stereotypical Harvey's salesman, within 30 seconds I knew I would have to go elsewhere for any actual help so that's what I did. Next time I shall just skip this store entirely

Don't bother. Clearly the customer service ends the moment your money transfers over. Even if you are still in the shop.
And good luck if have any issues with products or services.they don't care, especially if the issue is from damage from their delivery options or fault with the product. The management have no integritty, accountability or desire to actually try to resolve any issue, poor understanding of Consumer Protection and once they have your money they don't care if lose you as a customer for life.
I can't Recommend them after the way my bed purchase went Sadly.this comment is only to do with the Bed Section. Buy Elsewhere.
Best Harvey store in the Northern suburbs. Great staff. Quick. Efficient. Friendly and they have latitudepay, a great alternative to afterpay

Did an online order and got it brought out to the car. It took what seemed like forever for our order to be brought out. The employee who brought it out apologised for the long wait.
Went in with little knowledge about apple watch Joshua M -6209! Fully explained everything about the watch and even took his own watch off so that I could try it on! He went above well above customer service thank you
Chris from the Tech dept sorted out an issue with my mobile phone that I had one other store attempt to solve, conversations with my network provider and 3 calls with Samsung tech support with no resolution. He is awesome
