Harmony Hearing & Audiology

I'm putting my opinionated review forward on behalf of my old man, he is too kind to leave one himself. The old man went to this business for years and spent thousands of dollars to try and receive the best service and hearing aids money could buy. It turned out his many hearing aids were inadequate and failed to provide any significant improvement to his hearing. It impacted his life and career. He has since gone to Costco to buy his hearing aids. He wanted the best ones they had at 4k, but the lady there said he didn't need them and a 2k pair will do the job after testing him, so she wasn't motivated just to sell him the most expensive set and dad doesn't muck around he just wants a solution at any cost. And she was right. He is completely over the moon and relieved, I could only just imagine how it must feel to get a solution after numerous visits, hearing aids, constant complaints and efforts with Harmony over years. He has heaps more confidence now. After hearing his story I had to leave this review to share his experience with this business. And maybe go see if Costco (last place I would of thought) can provide a better service at a fraction of the price. As with anything take this review with a grain of salt. But I suggest be weary with this business and don't take their word or services as absolute, have a look around. My old boy deserved alot better.

I've been going to Harmony Hearing for a few years now and I've always been very happy with their professionalism and thoughtful caring approach. I've had the good fortune to see both Andrew and Tony over the years and I'm always impressed by their sincere attitude to the services they provide. I was born deaf so I've always needed support from audiologists with hearing aids. Recently I had to upgrade my hearing aids, and since I have a profound hearing loss, I require more powerful aids. With Andrew's help, I chose the Oticon Opn S1 PP behind the ear aids with bluetooth. They are the best hearing aids I've ever had. The bluetooth option enables me to connect to my smartphone and listen to calls using both hearing aids instead of just one. I can also use the bluetooth receiver on the computer or laptop and listen to music, movies or games without the need for uncomfortable headphones. I find that I don't need to have the volume as loud when bluetooth is enabled. Another benefit to having good hearing aids with multiple programming options is that I have more confidence when socialising because I can select whichever program that works best in each situation. That has been a problem for me in the past but thanks to the new hearing aids, not anymore.

Also wanted to mention that I recently went to the new offices of Harmony Hearing at Shenton Park and was very impressed. I wish Harmony Hearing all the best with expanding their business and clientele.

After 7 years with my original Oticon units, I've upgraded to the latest Oticon Opt1 units had to offer and wow, what an incredible difference. With bluetooth connectivity and unbelievable clarity in the speakers, I have resolved many of my day to day hearing issues, whether they be phone calls, office meetings, crowded venues or radio communications, the world seems to have come alive for me. Thank you Andrew for an outstanding service and very affordable price.

I have just completed a 30 day trial of the Oticon IIC hearing aid recommended by Andrew McKendrick of Harmony Hearing, Fremantle. I have worn hearing aids for many years and found the hearing assessment conducted by Mr McKendrick to be very professional and friendly.

The hearing aid recommended by Mr McKendrick is very much lighter in my ear canal than my old one and the sound quality is excellent.

I would highly recommend purchasing a new hearing aid from Andrew McKendrick as you can be confident in the product and the assessment.

I also had an assessment by another hearing aid specialist just prior to my assessment by Harmony Hearing but would rate them 3 out of 5 in comparison to Harmony Hearings 5 out of 5.

I have dealt with Andrew at Harmony hearing for nearly six years. His products are top quality (all the best brands) but his prices are very competitive – much cheaper than the audiologist I used to see. His personal service and attention to detail is first class.
Recently I have moved from in the canal aids to an external aid. Andrew allowed me to trial the two latest models: Oticon OPN and Phonak Marvel. Both are very good.
I chose the Phonak because of its rechargeability (no more battery changes) and its microphone. Both Oticon OPN and Phonak Marvel allow phone calls to come direct to the hearing aid but the Phonak promised I could also talk through the hearing aid rather than hold the phone up to my mouth – totally hands free.
Unfortunately the Phonak software is not compatible with my new iPhone X. So phone calls are now a real hassle. When I get a phone call I have to disable Bluetooth on my phone and hold the phone to my ear (often generating feedback). Worse - it's not just the phone function but all the streaming functions. So I can't control the aid with the Phonak app on my iPhone
My advice – don't buy the Phonak Marvel unless you check it is compatible with your phone’s software.
PS The chat rooms say Phonak update is due in February 2019. Hurry up Phonak!

I am now on my third set of hearing aids in 12 years, having used other companies for the earlier sets. Since dealing with Andrew I have found his professionalism and attention to detail excellent. The follow up service and his ability to listen and help with finite adjustments (I work in a noisy environment) certainly makes you feel appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending HARMONY HEARING and Andrew in particular

After a lot of research and having "free" hearing tests with a number of audiologists from different hearing aid providers, I chose Harmony Hearing to have my old hearing aids replaced. Their attention to detail and sincere approach in providing an aid to meet my requirements, both financially and technically, was well above expectations. The after sales service is also of a high standard and therefore would not hesitate in recommending Harmony Hearing to anyone with a hearing problem.

My experience with Andrew McKendrick at Harmony Hearing, Fremantle has been outstanding. Andrew has helped me to accept the reality of my need to wear aids with encouragement and understanding. He has a compassionate nature and really cares about his patients' wellbeing. I know at any time if I have a problem with my aids, he will make the time at his earliest convenience to assist. I cannot recommend Harmony Hearing, Fremantle highly enough to help any prospective patient to overcome the stigma related to wearing aid.

Very happy with my OPN 1 MiniRites hearing aids. It is so good to able to hear again. The service I received was very good. The different models and there functions were fully explained and at no time did I feel under pressure

My life changed the day I walked into Harmony Hearing I never imagined how my life has changed dramatically. The service I have received has been wonderful. I could not hope for anything better. Went to Fremantle Hearing Centre to get a hearing test. The hearing results were clearly explained to me and gave me a clear understanding of my hearing loss. I was recommended a pair of Phonak Digital Hearing aids and I must they say they are excellent. I can follow conversation with my family and friends now and no longer feel left out. Thank you Fremantle Hearing Centre for solving my hearing loss problem.
