Hardware Cafe Quinns

Went for a late breakfast, ordered a big breakfast, a steak sandwich with chips a coffee & a juice. At this stage we were the only ones who had ordered food.
Waited 40minutes for our drinks to arrive! Food took 45minutes to come out & when it did it was cold & very unappealing. Had 1 bite of the burger.dry & stale, chips stone cold. Staff seemed like they disliked their job & didn't want to be there. Shame we wasted our time & $$$ here.manager didn't even have the decency to come & speak to me about our meals! Would not recommend!

I actually love this little Cafe which is why I decided to get my brekkie from them through ubereats. It took OVER AN HOUR to arrive and was stone cold. Very disappointed. And I know it wasn't the ubereats drivers fault as I could track how long he waited at the restaurant. Not happy.

Pleasant. Friendly. Some attention to table cleaning after previous diners needed request twice, but otherwise this is a favourite for casual meetings & chat.

A lovely Café that we were surprised to come across in Quinns Rocks. A happy,
relaxed atmosphere and very nice decor. A great selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Very friendly and courteous staff. (Thanks especially to Hannah and Leiah!) Looking forward to going there again! Return visit was just as lovely! Delicious lunch! A big thanks to Sera for her kind, friendly and efficient service.

This place never disappoints, breakfast is the best I have had north of the river. Staff are really nice and do anything for you.

I was there to pick up a delivery order and been waiting there for 15 mins and they don't even care and kept serving the desk, worst place ever for delivery pickups, arrogance for a cup of coffee?

Asked for a soy latte, was served a skimmed milk latte.
The menu wasn't very vegan friendly.

Good Cafe space. Very kid friendly which as a mumma is super appreciated but sadly the coffee and service was awful. There was a mix up with orders, we were waiting over an hour for a heated up cabinet muffin. I could have made a muffin from scratch in that time. I asked several times. I won't be back.

Used to love Hardware Cafe, recently the customer service has been lacking and the food quality has been inconsistent. The food is always tasty, but sometimes you order wrap and its great and a good size and the next time you order a wrap its half the size for the same price. Long waits for food - often advised something will be 10 minutes and end up waiting 20.

This place is nice and trendy, good for friends or a loved one.

You could also snag a cheeky free breakfast deal if you follow their Facebook page and your name is on their daily "Male and Female Free Breakfast" event!

We all love our hardware cafe for breakfasts, take aways, smoothies but we noticed that there are still far too much plastic cups with plastic lids and plastic straws given to people who dine in or sit outside. Is this really neccessary? I hope hardware cafe uses a dishwasher. So why not use proper cups / glasses and invest in metal or bamboo straws? Please do your part and stop ordering this totally unnecessary plastic stuff. It would save you money and you would even help educating your customers if you would give only take away cups to people who really ask for them. Simple!

Order wasn't correct, carrot cake brought instead of Carrot muffin.my two friends raisin bread didn't arrive, I asked for it, it had obviously been sitting on the kitchen bench.it was hardly toasted, rubbery and cold. I don't like making a scene but we'll never return.ive been going up there for years I will never return.i think it has new owners.my friends coffee came in take away containers, why no cups for regular coffee, environmentally bad.

Everyone has raved about this little hidden secret - thought I'd give it a try myself - and pleasantly surprised. Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. We'll be back - thank you.

Good food, but worst coffee you can get, they are to tight to put any coffee in the cup of coffee, tastes like a cup of luke warm coffee flavored cup of warm milk. Terrible go anywhere else!

Had lunch yesterday with my cousin. Awesome food and fantastic friendly service. Going again Saturday night to try dinner.

Have only been to the QHC for coffee but we had dinner there prior to our junior footy club end of season function last night. Lovely service throughout and the food was excellent. Steak for me and prawn pasta for the boss. Both were tasty, well cooked and I recommend the pepper sauce, best I’ve had. The only downside was not knowing it’s BYO. A Shiraz with my meal would’ve topped it off. Great night all round though and highly recommended.

This is my favourite cafe. Great coffee, great food and great atmosphere. Often I'll head there with my laptop to work over a coffee or meet friends for coffee or lunch.
