Happy Gathering

The service was very slow, it took 3hrs to be serviced our meal from ordering to the final dish being served
There was a large gathering (party of about 30-40 people and nothing against them having there celebration) and they were loud and we were not able to hear each other unless we almost yelled
We should/could have been seat away from the group. There was plenty of room in the restaurant
The meal was okay if not very slow
We only got our water replenished once and that was all
It looked like they were very short staffed
Disappointing

Beautiful food, especially squid tentacles mmm. Very fair prices and great service and complimentary prawn crackers. I'm a regular for sure

Shocking prices, absolute rip off, containers were not even packed full only half full, highly advise don’t go here.

Don’t eat at this restaurant have done it a couple of times now and I just don’t seem to get it right orders are always mixed up every single time without fail. The service is terrible always takes a long time to get food delivered when told it’s 15 to 20 minutes usually takes an hour or over and when it arrives the food is not correct at all. The one thing I will tell anybody give it a skip go to the restaurant across the road can’t remember it’s name right now they don’t deliver but the food is beautiful the service is impeccable and they are clean and their staff are clean and respectful and there’s a great bottle shop next door and they are BYO

Ordered through Uber eats. Paid $65 for Mongolian lamb, Szechuan beef, special fried rice and a steamed rice. Didn’t receive the steamed rice and both main dishes were full of onion and sauce. Very little meat. Total rip off.

Ya get what ya pay for. Lunch special was cheap an nothing special. Given this place a few goes an never leave happy.service is ok it's the state of the utensils don't think I've been there yet at not swapped them with another table or asked for a swap. But again if ya looking for a cheap quick sit down Lunch that's what ya get. $10 Lunch sit down meal.food is ok not great just ok. In my opinion

Very happy with the service we received and staff were very accommodating to special requests. Food was very nice too

Very disappointing it almost all tasted the same even the hot dishes where not hot mixed vegs was the best out of the 5 dishes even the special fried rice was plain like cheap products used

Ordered satay beef, container was half full of onions
Rest of the meals ordered were tasteless

Ordered garlic beef. 90% was chunky onion.beef was really tough.didnt taste any garlic just overwhelming taste of the onion.last time we order from here

3 out of the 4 dishes were really nice, just way too much onion huge chunks. Very friendly lady who took the order

Tasty food.

We ordered the Mongolian Beef, Chicken Satay, Beef and BlackBean and the Sweet and sour pork. All dishes were pretty good and the fried rice was lovely.
Food is over priced for the serving size. My usual Chinese cost me around $25 less and the servings are larger and much more generous with the meat.

I am normally pretty happy with there service but tonight I made my order at 6.05pm and was advised it would take 30-40mins. No problem. Nothing turned up so at 7.15pm I rang and was advised the order had been made and was leaving the store now. It's now 7.48 pm and still nothing

I have been ordering from here for years. I have never had an issue, the food is always amazing. Tonight I am severely disappointed! I ordered a large combination hokkien noodle and the container is only half full! I didn't pay over $20 for a half full container! I have also always ordered the fried rice and it has never once had chilli in it. Tonight the fried rice has pieces of chilli all the way through it, it is not eatable as we do not eat spicy chilli.

Very poor. Ordered a combination Szechuan. Came 3/4 full of onion. Will never order food there again.

I am a very fussy eater when it comes to takeaway Chinese and this was amazing!
Each container was completely full of meat, with a very sensible amount of veggies.

Delicious!
Good value!
Large portions!
Full of flavour!
Highly recommend!

Not worth the price, got some food tonight from here it was all pretty average for the high price, the rice tasted burnt which was an issue the last time but thought maybe they would've improved on it, the pork from the sweet and sour pork wasn't cooked enough the batter around the pork was wet still and soggy, won't order from here again that's for sure

Am really disappointed with the food.the quality, flavour and size of the meals is completely unsatifactory and overpriced for what you get.
There was very little flavour (if any at all)

After eating here many times the quality and taste of the food is going down hill. Had Happy Gathering a couple of months ago and was not happy with the quality, but chose to re order again today and try it one more time, but this unfortunately will be the last time I will order. Food is lacking in taste, apart from salt, there is plenty of that. Hardly any meat in the beef and black bean dish, just sauce really, and for the money spent is was quite a disappointing meal. Sad that such a good place isn't the same any more.
