Hancookwan Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant

Really lovely! Great service and amazing food. Buffet had lots of variety price was so good too - I have previously had Korean BBQ elsewhere and it was quite a bit more expensive.

My experience here was terrible. The food was burning easily and the majority of the food was mixed with others. Often the employees seemed to not care at all. DONT come here.

I genuinely want to know what coffee they used because wow! Best coffee I've tasted so far! If you know let me know please!

The atmosphere in the store is good. Every time I go there, there are people there who wish me happy birthday.

The store is so smoky and smelly that it feels like your lungs have turned into a range hood.

Very basic food, not much selection. But if you enjoy prawns bbq could be great place, all you can eat. The dessert bar not that flash. I found it to be high in price for the quality of food.

Baekjongwon Lee Yeyu. I went there secretly a few months ago, and although it's late, I'll say a few words off topic.

1. Why did you leave out the sesame oil? Mix 9 parts cooking oil with 1 part sesame oil and leave it alone. It's only 10 dollars per hour, but it's really petty.
2. Why is there no garlic? I need some peeled garlic from China. Let's take a look and it turns out that Korean barbecue is missing two key things.champignon oil and garlic.
3. Don’t insist on using a charcoal grill that fluctuates in heat power…just use a blue star… After about 30 minutes, I get angry while waiting for the meat to cook.
4. Leave out the tasteless foods… Try to match the assortment, don't put out strange things, and give me something to eat. Mostly, everything is weird, but especially the steamed egg with water is really amazing. I think it's delicious, right?
5. Ladies, smile a little… He looks like a prison guard or something like a prison guard. The expressions on his face. You have to lead by example, so even part-time workers can have fun, right? No?

Don't just listen to what I'm saying because of my dialect, but think with a business mind. Isn't it a shame that Japanese kids here and there are so successful with premium barbecue? Don’t worry about cost-effectiveness. Rather, get a little more money and don’t forget your original intention… Oh, now that I think about it, there was beef tongue at first, but there was nothing. Well. Ugh. I'll check again in October. Do your best.

My Brother said that the food was not as good as what it use to be and I didn't believe him so I try it again anyway, he was right.

The food was great, however I think having better ventilation for the smoke would go a long way to improve the atmosphere!

I would definitely recommend this buffet to others and come here again myself!

This place is a lot better than what it was before. Used to have really rude staff. Food is good. Love it.

I enjoyed my visit to this place. Decent variety of meat options and nothing ran out during our dinner sitting. The prawns we had on that day could have been better and I think it would have been better to have a 3rd seafood option.

(A number of complaints posted here appear to be in relation to being charged for their kids to eat there. However, their prices are clearly advertised with payment collected prior to the start of the buffet so IMO, adequate opportunity to take your business elsewhere.)

Worst service ever. They even kicked my friend’s chair because he had to go through.

What a joke of a place. They wrote our phone number down incorrectly and cancelled our booking for 10 people which was a birthday party.no customer service no ethics no kindness or manners. The so called manager didn’t even feel bad just said we cancelled your booking. Who does that? Give this place a big miss

Incompetent service personel. From booking to servers. Complete failure frok beginning to last.

$39 for Korean BBQ buffet (not including drinks). Good meat selection and even some seafood! Ambience is a little lacking with lots of noisy patrons and the decor being a bit plain. Did I mention this was the smokiest place I've ever eaten at? Lol, oh well it's Korean BBQ! Would go again, just prepared to smell smokey as anything.

This is a revisit of my review a few years back and dropping from a five stars to two. Hancookwan been our go to kbbq over the years however i agree with other reviewers in the case of "the quality of the raw meats has decreased significantly". Hoping this review might be seen and bring back the original hancookwan that we used to love.

For example, they used to have beef tongue which is my favorite of all, no longer available. On top of that they stopped serving basa fish fillet. From salad side, nothing significantly changed but no more serving glass noddle salad. They also stopped providing tap water, now becoming hot drinking water and now selling drinking water.

The quality of food has been significantly decreasing over the past few years and they started charging 17$ (by the time of writing this review) to kids over 2 years no matter they are eating or not. In the case of fees, 1.30% of surcharge now applies to all credit card holders.

However, staffs are very friendly, very helpful and prompt to change dirty grill, and cleaning plates very often. High chairs are avilable upon requests. Free onsite parking as usual.

For the price we paid. Cant ask for more. It’s all you can eat. Foods are amazing and walked out of the restaurant with 100% satisfaction. Good place to hang out with friends and family. Can bring your own alcohol if you want. Also, keep in mind that booking is essential. If you gonna try walk in and get a table, good luck with that. And lastly, customer service is amazing. There’s one waiter is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Everything was good except for no sesame oil, not necessarily a deal breaker but no sesame oil in a Korean restaurant just sounds weird

We came here with a group - my first time at a buffet Korean BBQ. Everything I tried was delicious, and I'm pretty sure I ate a bit too much! I loved the vermicelli noodles, they were so flavourful - the meats were excellent, marinated thoroughly and the cooking plate we had was really good. The staff are polite and attentive.

Very Bad attitude and taking people for stupid. Was trying to book for 10, including 2 x 5 years old the lady on said that they kids must pay for food even if they don’t eat …basically you pay for entering the place they don’t care, very unprofessional approach. What’s that? Ripping people.
