Definitely recommend the fish teriyaki set. Super delicious, the only reason I’m giving 4 stars for food is because the portion size was a little less than certain other places I’ve been, otherwise the overall experience was very nice.

This is one of the very few japanese restaurants I regularly go in Perth. Food is really good (for both quality and price), and chirashi don set is my fav! It’s usually busy so better book in advance!

Decided to go Japanese for fathers day. Best decision made all day. Staff were very friendly and polite. Restaurant wasn't too loud. Food was very well priced and big portion sizes. By far best sushi I have had. We ordered our entrees as soon as arrived the lotus chips, 5x chicken sushi, 10x assorted and rapture roll. We were expecting small sushi like at shops but were shocked at how much bigger they were. Absolutely delicious especially the rapture roll. For mains a corona for meand cokes for the kids. 2x terriaki chicken meal set for girls, curry pork meal set for me and my partner had the curry chicken meal set (both curries came with salad and soup)
Needless to say the 4 of us struggled to finish) staff were very friendly as they saw us finishing plates asked if we would like the empty plates removed. Was a fantastic night with the family and definitely one of my favourite restaurants will be returning.

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth. Always delivers delicious and quality food. My wife and I have been a returning customers for over 10 years, and it never disappoints.

Amazing! Interior is done up to look like a traditional, Japanese restaurant and kitchen. Came here for lunch with a girlfriend and got the fresh cut sashimi platter and lotus crisps which were light and crispy and not drenched in oil. Sashimi was presented beautifully and tasted incredible. Staff were very efficient and professional. Would definitely recommend for a fine dinner out.

I don’t know why this time the soft crab is tiny and hard. And I find 2 fish bones in 2 salmon roll. Get disappointed about this visit. I give notice to the waitress, but she acts like that’s common.

I’m not happy.

The food is good here, it's very busy and therefore very noisy, we went on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full.
This meant the staff and kitchen were flat out busy and the table service wasn't the best. The main meal for one of our group was forgotten either by the waiter taking the order or by the kitchen which meant the rest of the table all had food and he did not. It took several requests to get the meal delivered.
It's not the first time we've been here and won't be the last.

Terrible. I paid $25 for a medium sashimi and I came home and took it out of the bag. It looked like something I would purchase from a pop up store for $15. I called them to explain to them this was not worth $25 as I have eaten at their restaurant plenty of times. The person I spoke to said that was their potion and size. I told the man on the phone. If they were to serve these sizes for take away they should not be charging customers the same prices at dine in.
The gentleman was not helpful. He asked me to come back to the store return the food and get a refund. I feel ripped off. It’s sad really considering my family and I have been locals at this restaurant for years!
We are definitely not coming back.

The food was not bad but it was not great either. However, the service was definitely not good. Three of us went there on New Years Eve. We ordered entrees and before we were even halfway through eating them our main courses came out! They didn't even wait for us to finish our entrees and when we did finish our entrees they didn't remove the plates they came on. The table we sat at was not that big so it was difficult for us to eat our main courses with so much clutter on the table. The restaurant was not overly busy but perhaps because it was New Years Eve they wanted to close early and hurry everyone out of the restaurant. Still, its no excuse for bad service. People should be allowed to finish their entrees and then receive their main courses after a short break. Will not be going back there again.

This Japanese restaurant has been around for many years, although it has changed over time. We tried the lunch menu which offered standard Japanese meals for one. The taste was good although it seemed quite generic rather than the traditional Japanese from before. That said, serving sizes are pretty good for the price and it's a cheerful place to get a bento box, noodles or sushi.

It's quite a decent sized restaurant with indoor seating although it can still get quite busy, and service is good. Food also comes out reasonably quickly.

Had dinner here a few days ago, the service, quality of food and value for money is exceptional, very busy restaurant, even during the week so bookings are essential, thanks guys, will definitely return soon:)

Great place for Japanese food well made and presented. Great choice of bento, grilled dishes and sushi. You can book in advance which is recommended but my partner and I walked in and was served immediately.

Avoid this restaurant and find another. Hanami should already be closed for business and surely will be asap once the many loyal customers that have been enjoying dining at this restaurant for over 10 years. You may get lucky and leave satisfied if you do decide to chance your luck and dine once more but the restaurant is doing whatever it can to make as much money off customers before it's shut down. Read the reviews and if your happy with what the the poor reviews are letting you know and the regularity of unhappy, disrespected, health and safety compromised and one hospitalised customers then you might get a job for a week or two before doors closed. Teriyaki Bento was not a bento and was disgusting, garlic cloves like you would put in an all day roast How can you ruin steamed rice. Sushi roll chicken katshu 4 out of 10 were ok. Bits of bone, odd salad bits from other meal options. Small portions. Bento elsewhere honestly twice the size and 25% cheaper. Dianella shops grand promenade next to subway, can't dine in and was closing at 8pm when I looked to ordered at 7.45pm.

Really good place to book with friends, just don't expect good service. Food is always nice, although it could come out sooner. Oh and they've also forgotten orders on a couple occasions.

We've been there for many times and were all enjoyed. However last night the yellow haired waiter really made us sick. I'm sure that even the staff in Sushi Sushi can do better than him.

The restaurant was totally full always a good sign, got a takeaway and was worth waiting for, sensational Japenese cuisine will be back, highly recommend
