Hampton Senior High School reviews
16 This School is nothing short of disastrous.
The teaching staff and Education assistant team (a bunch of menopausal women who are so miserable with their life they feel the need to bring others down AKA Juanita!) at Hampton SHS woefully inadequate. Many of the teachers lack proper training and experience, and they are often overwhelmed by their workload. As a result, they are unable to provide students with the individualized attention they need to succeed. Moreover, the teachers often resort to outdated and ineffective teaching methods, which fail to engage students and leave them feeling unmotivated and bored.
The student body at Hampton is equally problematic. There is a pervasive culture of disrespect and violence among the students, and bullying is rampant. Many of the students are academically disengaged and have no interest in learning. Others are involved in criminal activity, and there is a constant fear of violence on campus.
The administration are completely ineffective in addressing these problems. They are either oblivious to the issues or unwilling to take action. As a result, the school has become a breeding ground for delinquency and failure.
I am particularly appalled by the way that relief staff is treated at Hampton SHS. These dedicated individuals are often belittled and undermined by the permanent staff, and they are not given the support they need to do their job effectively. This is a disgrace, and it reflects the overall lack of respect and professionalism that permeates the school.
I would strongly advise parents to avoid sending their children to this school. This school is failing its students in every possible way, and it is a place where children are more likely to learn bad habits than good ones.
This school has gone severely down hill since the previous principal Mr Beaton decided to leave. I would not recommend sending your child here as this school drastically effects each and every child in the worst way possible. If you do send your child here they will be denied their education and will even lose their desire to "strive, innovate and achieve. " This school rips away the voices of our future generation. If I could give a lower rating I would because this school doesn't even deserve one star.
Very bad new management this school will Try to damage your child as they will interfere
In a bad way towards there future very very damaging
This is the worst school,
If you care about your kids find a school that can listen and understand,

Hampton is a great schoola s a year seven I feel very comfortable with the teachers and the students the really make me feel like I'm at home
It would be a great time to learn and study especially if u like dancing or drama or swimming. Highly recommended for all Students!
It's good to be able to be part of a community that makes a difference.
We help to make toasties with cheese, egg & cheese also pancakes are very popular.
Depending on what's available we sometimes have canned fruit, chicken yogurt & we cannot forget to mention milo drink that's made for them to drink.
Thanks to all the volunteers who help make the breakfast on Wednesday morning possible.
Seems like the kids run the school I live in the area and kids are always out smoking weed and smokes evan smoking a ciggy walking out of school I had a girl just ask me for a pair of scissors she came to my house they smoke weed where I like to take my 2yr old to play the school says call the police how about school have some responsibility for their students and come get them! Can see why the kids do what they want there dosnt seem to be any control over them glad I didn't send my daughter their
There actually is breadsticks here on offer, unlike John Forrest where the breadsticks are lodged deep inside the deputy.

Idk what the other review are about, cause the school is great, it has had a lot of time to improve, including a better principal, and education, teachers do actually teach, u just need to listen more, ask questions and get of ya phones. But yea great school around, just need to get to know it better.
