We stayed for 5 days in October, 2023, and had a great time. Lovely large caravan sites with plenty of space between sites, excellent amenities, great camp kitchen with interesting books and reading material available, and a beautiful lagoon with an abundance of birdlife. It was a great place to base ourselves while we explored the southern end of the Shark Bay area. Highly recommended.

Within driving distance of Shark Bay.

We stayed two nights at Hamelin Station. The booking process and communication along the way was easy. The station grounds and facilities are exactly what they need to be, clean, tidy and functional. We enjoyed wandering though the shearing shed and reading some of the history of the station. We also enjoyed the birdlife, and talking to the staff who were able to tell us so much about the area, the wildlife and history of this beautiful land. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful set up. Hosts so friendly and helpful. Ablutions were perfect. Camp kitchen brilliant! Very well supplied; everything you could hope for for meals.
Everything so neat, tidy and convenient. Lovely place to walk around and enjoy some wildlife also.
We stayed two separate nights on our trip. Room was such a nice break from having to set up all of your own stuff. Weather a little stuffy but fan made it possible to get good rest.
Flies very friendly when we were there (April) so perhaps bring a flynet to save your sanity when packing up your tent, but they are not unbearable.
Ground was also very hard to tent-peg into in spots, so have good pegs, not the thin cheap ones.
We will be back when possible!

Loved this place. Great camp kitchen, communal spaces… with character! Nicely spread-out sites give plenty of room. We originally booked one night, then extended our stay after we saw the place.

We did a walk around the lake at sunset which was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

Great outback stay owned by Bush Heritage. Reasonable price, good showers and toilets. No power need to contain all water and rubbish and take offsite. We had our own caravan and kept extending our stay

Spent three days here. One of the best places we have been. Beautiful sites that are quite separate from others. Super clean showers with hot water/toilets. Free laundry, Really friendly staff
Actually the whole area is neat and tidy, camp kitchen that is ultimately the best we have used. Walk around the lake, watch the water birds or cycle to Hamelin pool.

Really great facilities and campsites. All are unpowered sites which is good if you can go off grid because their kitchen facilities are fantastic as well as their toilet and shower facilities. Keep in mind you must take all rubbish with you as there are no bins.

Nice place to stay, toilet and showers are clean. Will stay a again. Easy parking for your vans. Only thing it needs to get is a dump piont because i am sure people need to empty there loos. If they are stay for a long period. Long way into
Sharks bay. Just to find a dump point

Lovely looking place, great amenities including toilet, showers, laundry, camp kitchens. No shop, so can't buy anything such as ice, water or snacks. No bins anywhere. Staff direct you to the Overlander Road house that has everything you may need, 25km's back down the road. They do have loads of flies, the most we encountered in Shark Bay, even more than Shell Beach!

Nice place however not much to do nearby.

The nature walk jetty is destroyed and not repaired.

Good base for day trip into steep point

Loved this place with my family. Clean facilities and beautiful surrounds. Kudos to Bush Heritage. And many thanks again to Jackie an awesome manager who looks after guests as family.

Travel the 25km from overlander and make this ur stopover or a longer stay if ur staying on the heritage route. No regrets.
