Darren of Hallmark Realty has been managing our rental properties in the Perth are now for a number of years. Prior to Darren we had other managing agents and can honestly say none can compare to the knowledge, skill and expertise Darren brings to property management. He’s so different to others. He has an understanding of property and what can go wrong. He understands the issues involved in say a faulty dishwasher, a leaking tap or a malfunctioning AC, and in so doing can ask sensible questions and take the correct course of action to resolve. He’s a homeowner himself and is fully aware of the costs involved in the often needless expense of calling out a plumber, electrician or w.h. Y. He treats and manages your property as his own. Also we used Darren in summer 2017 to sell one of our properties that he was managing. The house we were selling was in a northern suburb 33km from the city of Perth. Local estate agents were incredulous that we decided to use an “out of town” agent to sell and as one they said we’d have trouble as the market was flat and an out of town agent would have trouble. Not one of these local agents identified the target purchaser. Darren’s marketing strategy was spot on and we achieved a sale through 3 offers in the space of 7 days. So if you’re selling don’t be swayed by having to use a local agent and if you have a rental property that needs managing then look no further than a Darren Horler at Hallmark Realty. He is a committed professional both in sales and property management and we have no hesitation in recommending him and Hallmark Realty.

Unprofessional conduct by the company principal himself, Darren Horler. Two days after returning the keys I was bullied and threaten with court action and to be listed on the national tenancy data base. The final bond inspection had not even been done. Further more I was accused of being a liar and a thief which aggravated my anxiety and depression. Unacceptable behaviour which warrants a formal complaint to REIA and DOCEP

Darren Holster is rude, arrogant and a misogynist. I would never go anywhere near him to buy, rent or sale a property. The society we live in relies on word-of-mouth and recommendation from friends! Plus he’s clearly not very modern. Stay clear!
