ANZAC service was good because the sloped areas around the memorial area was visible to all

A bit soggy after all the rain. But I noticed the grass has been spiked or hollow tined to help with drainage I guess. Good luck to the Lacrosse players on Saturday.

I was waiting my sister finish her class and it was going to take her another 40 min so I Google “playground around me” and this Park came up! I’m so glad I’ve done that, this small little park, is is brand new, my son loved it, it has also a gazebo if you are wanting to have a snack, and there’s plenty of grass around for exercising or sun bath! If you live in the area you should gomando check it out!

Nice big open park.
Sport is played there most weekends.
There is a reasonable kids playground in one corner.
During the week nights there are people walking and jogging laps or taking their dogs out for a walk.
I love it as it has a bookshop next door and I'm old school and love books.
There is an after hours table out front with hundreds of books available to purchase for a gold coin each.
I've found some great books to help complete my thriller collection.
The Bayswater Hotel is another 50 m away and I've had some great reasonably priced meals there. Chicken parmigiana is one favourite. Drinks are a bit pricey but I usually only have one anyway.
Nice area to visit for a couple of hours.

Authentic Chinese food. Good service and friendly staff. Quiet place for a good meal with family or friends. Large portion and prices are reasonable.

A very impressive zoo, close encounters with koalas and kangaroos. Nice forested shady grounds, good cafe.

Lovely little park right near Bayswater station. A small playground in one corner of the park, perfect for taking toddlers and young children. Grass is kept in great condition, amazing place to have a kick of the soccer ball, or to have a gathering
