Hakata Gensuke - Ramen Professional reviews
49They have changed how you pay. Have to scan on your phone to go to a website and then put in details. Feels unsafe as the website is not their website. Was not offered to pay normally. Might be harder for people with limited technology skills to do. Unable to use my meals allowance card. Would suggest returning to how things were before.
A small ramen restaurant with limited seating. And though they may be busy during dinner time, the delicious God fire ramen is definitely worth a stop to try.
The other selections of ramen are especially nice too. The restaurant now has online seated ordering which makes things more convenient.
We came around 4pm, there were some better tables but the staff gave us shared table. It was confusing to order using QR code since you have to input your card details for payment. Also we never get staff’s eye contact so we couldn’t even ask questions.
Some of the best ramen I have had in Perth. No queue to get in, quick, efficient service & good value for money. Would recommend the spicy soup.
Love it.
Broths is rich, flavoursome. Tried the happy hour with gyoza nice generous filling and like the small spicy sauce, fried chicken ok, however not fancy the tea bottles thing way too sweet for me. Small portion.
Best Ramen I have ever eaten so far!
We ordered Aka tonkotsu and Shoyu tonkotsu. The broth not too overwhelming wich is good for me. We can choose the the softness of the ramen, it can be soft or hard depend on your preference. Always queing and long wait on a peak hour but I tell you it was worth queuing.
Yummy, we will be back again to try the other ramen.
Lovely.
This is one of my favourite ramen places. The broth is so rich and perfectly satisfies your ramen cravings. The original was a bit salty for me, so if you have a light taste I recommend going for the less salt option.
Best ramen around, chashu is well made, shio, shouyu and classic all stand up well against competition.
Love the ramen here and the people who work here are so nice! The girls are so friendly and they always make my family and I feel at home and are really accommodating. Really love the customer service here. This place is family-friendly.
Good ramen without too many faults. If you want all the toppings, i.e. Generous pork slices, egg, seaweed, then you're going to pay $20+ for a bowl. Ouch. The tonkotsu broths are thick and rich, almost like a gravy, and the ramen was the thinner style "white" noodles as is trendy with ramen shops nowadays. Pork slices were very thin and light in flavor - fine, but not amazing.
We ordered the special tonkotsu & black tonkotsu ramen. We love ramen broth that is thick & rich. Hakata's didn't disappoint. We also enjoyed the spicy veg as it really packed a punch. Definitely 1 of the better ramen places we've been in Perth.
I love this place. I can say its the best ramen in perth. I couldnt understand ppl waiting in front of this shop before I visited but i recommend here its worth to wait to be here. Good food with nice staffs.
Great Ramen good price great service chicken karaage spicy mayo not the best needs to have more flavour punch.
I go about 3 times week after gym get spicy Ramen with double noodle all topping and karaage.
Ordered: Signature tonkotsu, gyoza and spicy sauce.
Flavoursome broth and noodles can be cooked to your desire of hardness.
Regretted not getting an egg.
Gyoza were cooked nicely & on the table there are a range of condiments from mince garlic to gyoza sauce? The spicy sauce we hardly even used not because it lacked flavour but it was good enough with the gyoza sauce.
But i cannot fault this place! Only downfall is the place small so seating is limited.
Favourite ramen place in Perth! Love the spicy option! Will definitely come back and recommend to family and friends!
Visited 3 times for dinner this week, my first visit I had to wait outside for 5 minutes for a seat but I'm glad I did. The service was prompt and efficient. I ordered the signature ramen, extra noodles, rice and gyoza. The price I paid would have gotten me a pub meal that wouldn't have filled me up. The 2nd and 3rd visit were consistent in service and quality of food. Will definitely visit when I visit Perth again.
Hands down the best ramen I’ve ever had. The noodle is so soft, the broth warms your heart&soul. And the dumplings are amazinggggg
Very tasty and delicious ramen in Vic park. Rich flavoured soup and chewy noodle. Needs to queue to get in. Long queues on the weekend
Nothing fancy about the noodle, soft noodles are still hard, low salt still salty, hyped place, good crowd and atmosphere though.
The portion is just ok. Broth is not the best and the ramen noodle taste liked the Chinese egg noodle. Overall taste and experience rated 6. As the noodle and broth are not authentic Japanese taste
