I went into hair dare you just to get some needed information about my hair which has changed from taking strong medication. The girl was lovely didn’t try and push me into coming in in fact she told me not to do anything until my hair recovers it’s refreshing to get an honest opinion I’ll certainly go back when I’m ready

My 9yr old daughter absolutely loves going to see Abby, she is the only hairdresser she trusts with her very long thick hair. She also knows how to make my daughter feel relaxed and calm with her gentle nature. She is absolutely lovely with young children.

This salon has a lovely and a vibrant atmosphere, professional staff who walk you through the process, work with your vision.

I had phoned Hair Dare You following a disappointing salon experience at another salon and asked Hair Dare You for their earliest availability to fix my hair. They understood my experience and prioritised me, scheduling me an appointment the next morning. Lilli, one of the senior stylists, was wonderful! She listened, was thorough in her explanations, made the whole salon experience comfortable, asked if I wanted any tea of coffee, magazines, etc. For context, I have straight and dark asian hair, and Lilli was able to offer me information about the science of different hair types, which I was super impressed by! You can tell Lilli is passionate about hair and has a great energy. I can’t thank her enough and I will most definitely be coming here for future hair appointments.

Seeing how staff and clients engage, how rapport is prioritised, I can see why this is a go-to place for so many!

Excellent Service let me just chill and they have electric recliners at the wash stands which is a game changer for me.

Best hairdresser experience I've ever had! I hadn't been to the hairdresser in years and had a mish mash of home colour disaster plus grey roots and Abbey bought me in to do a test run on some strands and then booked me in once she nailed the colour I was after and boy did she.
I'm 46 and this is the best colour and cut I've ever had. Honestly. She's a star and I'm so happy with the colour it's always always been brassy and she got it to a cool tone and exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much!

Amazing staff! Highly recommend this salon. I took my 6 week old in today with me and they were so accomodating and friendly when she was unsettled. I felt so comfortable the whole time with her. Not to mention did an amazing job on my hair. So happy with the results. Will definitely be coming back!

The best thing about this salon is how they are not judgmental. After using box dye for a few years because I was unable to afford a trip to the salon they didn’t attack me, instead saying they understood people can find themselves in hardship but still need to feel good about themselves.

The salon is lovely and the team a joy to be around. If you have an issue with being vaxxed to visit them then please just stay away! Been going to the wonderful ladies at Hair Dare for many many years now. They are always so professional and very knowledgeable. They take the time to do a thorough consult and explain everything in detail. Always been happy with their service. They go above and beyond. Amazing talent! Great team.

Been coming here for over 3 years now, and never left unsatisfied! Everyone here from front reception to the juniors are polite, kind and such a friendly bunch of people! Special shout out to Lilly always going above and beyond to make my experience 10/10 every time. Whether that's a full colour or just a blow wave, same incredible service each time?

Do not go to the salon!
I was drawn in by the owner to visit the salon via Facebook when I was looking for recommendations for a bleaching expert. They didn’t wash out peroxide close to my neck which resulted in quite a lot of my hair breaking off! To top it off on my last visit to the salon they completely destroyed my hair! Taking absolutely no blame for this which is really disappointing. When I went back to the salon to discuss this the owner disappeared, refused to speak to me and her daughter bullied me. Now I have to wait years before I can go back to the look that I had been trying to achieve.
I repeat do not go to the salon!

Sam dusted my curls today, with a dry curl by curl approach and a dryer sense of humour.

It's very clear how much she ADORES curls.
She's cost effective, with only a 2-3 week waitlist.
Even my wavy 16yo daughter and curly top knot 14yr son entrust their locks to her.
My hair literally now moves like Nerida's in Brave with gentle ripples in the breeze Instead of looking like an extra in Something About Mary.

Amazing everything! Sam and her team are are so lovely and professional. They make you feel at home. I've been going there for years and I have always been 100% happy with my cuts. They also advise on what styles and cuts would suit your hair type and face shape. Everything is perfect - can't fault a single thing!

Had my hair done last night from Lily. Ombre with ash blonde toner. Great result. The salon itself is very busy for such a small strip of shops. It's a great vibe. Very professional service. I'll be heading back and recommending.
