Hackersley Estate Wines reviews
18 My best meal in Australia!
Hackersley wine estate exceeded every expectation. From the delectable lunch to the exquisite wines, their commitment to excellence shines through. The impeccable service and picturesque environment made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a delightful retreat!
Had a wonderful afternoon at this winery. Service was warm and friendly. Enjoyed a wine tasting paddle and outstanding cheese platter. All while listening to fabulous live jazz on a sofa looking over a beautiful landscape. Perfect Sunday afternoon
Fantastic food, fantastic view, great atmosphere and service. We started with wine and cheese tasting platters. I'm not a wine buff but the missus loved it. The red vintage cheese and the one I can't pronounce or spell was fantastic. The presentation was awesome. The proper food was a 3 course meal. Again presentation was incredible for all 3, lovely mix of flavours and just enough to leave you with room for the next dish. The duck in particular was fantastic. Desert was a beautiful meringue.
We made a last minute decision to book a table here and it was the best decision we've made this year. We'll done to everyone at Hackersley, we will be back for sure.
Great place for a lazy lunch. Lovely views- very agrarian, wines excellent and food exceptional
What a wonderful experience, view and friendly staff, with a warm welcome as we arrived from Adrie. We were two couples catching up and enjoying a delicious, mouth watering 3 course lunch with one vegan for an extra $8.which I thought was reasonable and looked amazing. Least you know what you are up for price wise as its all on the website. Great to have the $10 wine tasting to help with choosing the wine to have with lunch. The only disappointment was not having available non alcoholic choice for skipper as you have to have a driver not being close to transport, you only had sugary drinks and in today's market non alcoholic drinks are widely available. Would definitely come again.
Giving this 5 stars because the service and wine was AH-MAZING. The food was almost as good. Loved the turkey and snapper, but the beef fillet was average. That said, I still ate it all! Great setting too. Very friendly vibe, but also a touch of elegance. Hidden gem!
Visited here and did the wine tasting alongside their lunch set menu.beautiful atmosphere and lovely staff who were quick to accommodate our dietary requirements (though at an extra charge of $8)
though the menu was interesting, we found that the dishes were over complicated and had too many elements going on.the dessert was amazing though - one of the best we’ve ever had.overall for the price and enjoyment of our lunch, it was a lovely experience but will not be back again.
Superb degustation (no dessert) luncheon visually, texturally and in taste.
Fully prepared for the vegan member of our group including anticipation of dessert in case she desired it.
Excellent, friendly service with the meal served in an unhurried manner. Thank you, we’ll definitely return.
Food is the best in the Ferguson Valley, delicious, contemporary and beautiful presentation.
Such a shame the wine is no match for the food.
Tranquil rural setting overlooking dam and hills. We had delicious homemade cake and coffee. Highly recommended!
Simply amazing food. Highest quality and the creative presentation is delicious to the eye.
Staff are amazing also.
Had the set menu lunch, wine tasting & chose a bottle of wine to enjoy with our 3 course lunch. Food was exceptional, service & staff we very friendly & helpful, wine was lovely. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in the Ferguson Valley
The ambiance and food at Hackersley is probably the best in the south west. Three courses and then you choose if you want dessert. Menu changes every 7 to 8 weeks so never boring! Highly recommended.
Can't rate this venue highly enough. Our first visit but can't wait to return. The staff are just lovely: , friendly helpful and professional and actually provide service (unlike a lot of perth venues) keeping our plates and glasses cleared ensuring we had drinks and water. Everyone there genuinely cared and worked as a team to ensure our party had a fabulous time. The food is amazing and Ardrie and Aaron are an inspiration. Thanks for a beautiful day.
Lunch at Hackersley is always a wonderful afternoon! The picturesque view over the dam, a cold glass of champagne and the amazing food and service by Aaron & Adrie.it is an experience that should be shared with friends!
Fantastic lunch and wines in a very relaxed space with great views of the rolling green hills. A top class day!
Was unable to partake in a wine tasting two days in a row. The lady staff member behind the counter was extremely rude on both occasions. She told my party of 11 people to leave and we should not go at lunch time. This was not on there website or signage to inform us that there was a private function on Saturday or that wine tasting was not available between 12 and 1 on Sunday. She could have informed us in a civil and courteous manner. I will never go to this winery again. Nor will I recommend it to any of my friend. In fact I will most vigorously discourage anyone from going and tasting or buying any wine.
Stumbled across this amazing winery today. From the picturesque view to the amazing manicured landscape and for the amazing service this place provided we will definitely be back. We were made to feel very welcome even with our little Cavoodle Coco in tow. Nothing was too much for them. Unfortunately for us we only popped in the late afternoon for coffee but was fortunate enough to try the most amazing chocolate cake I have ever tasted. Had a look at their menu which also looked amazing and sampled their wine too which was also superb. Definitely worth a visit to all. Well done Hackersley!
